Whirlpool W10300023 Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

Worked right away after installing, then has dropped off. Now makes ice until overflow freezes screw and then won't make ice. Ice sits frozen in maker, but won't cycle. Remove ice maker, thaw, plug in again, works for a short time (3-5 days) and then same issue. Replaced the water inlet valve also, just in case. The icemaker for my Maytag has never worked properly, it's very frustrating.

This is the second replacement I bought. Original locked up (frozen water from defrost cycle), first replacement locked up in the same manner. Current one spray water everywhere!

Easy swap with the original. It dose however produce smaller pieces of ice than the original ice maker in my Kenmore Elite model 106.57705704. So, I had to adjust the water intake screw a half turn clockwise so that water would stop dripping all over the inside of the freezer. Picture is with the cover off and ice maker slid into place.

Had to change the wiring harness

I have tried to adjust the water inlet time as instructed but to no avail! Can not sop the icemaker from overflowing water during the fill cycles, thus now have frozen water in the entire freezer compartment. Had to shut it off and can not use the ice maker.... Not good!

Installed easy. 2 months old now with no problems. Ice is slightly smaller than old machine - much better.

Installed in November. Worked perfectly, right up to when it stopped in April.
