Lionel Winter Wonderland LionChief 5.0 Electric O Gauge Train Set with Bluetooth & Remote One Color

Pretty darn good trainset. Its definitely festive and happy. It makes our Christmas tree way better! Its not overly noisy and it brings back some nostalgia from my younger years too. Fantastic! 😍

Very nice train set worked perfectly under the Xmas tree. Sound quality was very good. Played Xmas music, very nice. Will expand the track next Xmas to go along the wall and around the fireplace and back to the xmas tree

Trying to make my dorm room feel more festive, I got this set to circle the little tree on my bookshelf. On our first movie night, my roommate and I ran it around the snacks while we watched holiday movies. The remote is easy to figure out, and I connected my phone over Bluetooth without much fuss. The train has a cheerful look, and the sound makes it feel more like a tiny holiday scene than just decor. Setting up the track took more floor space than I expected, so I had to move my desk chair around. It is a fun dorm decoration, though I probably won't leave it running every day.

Purchased two of these for my two grandsons. One was 16 yrs old and the other was 3 yrs old. Both loved them.

I am very happy with the train set. I have always wanted a Christmas train for the tree but the ones I looked at were plastic and cheaply made but inexpensive around 50.to 60 dollars and ran on batteries. This is well made the engine is metal and the cars are made of heavy plastic but well built, the train runs on a transformer so no batteries except for the remote, the track has a base so no need for making a base for the track we run ours on carpet it is very sturdy. I would recommend this train, it is a little more expensive but well worth it, instead of a train that will last a few years this will be passed down for generations, I think it was well worth the money

Bought this for under the tree. Went with a reputable brand at a price point that should have indicated quality, but I'm incredibly disappointed. Issues: - Excessive track noise. If you run it at anything other than really slow speed the track noise is deafening...really unpleasant. Don't expect to be able hold a conversation while this thing is going. - The default audio volume is also really loud (maybe to drown out the track noise). The only way to lower it seems to be the phone app...which generally feels janky and outdated. It doesn't seem to remember your volume settings so you constantly have to turn it down again. - Constantly derails/disconnects from the remote. Have to jiggle the engine on the tracks to get it to work again. - When plugged in and not connected to a remote, the thing periodically chirps...which is terribly annoying. Not clear why I shouldn't be able to let the train sit stationary but plugged in without the annoyance.

So far the engines runs and sounds fine. The cars are not the best quality as the Pennsylvania Flyer set was but that set was about 40 dollars more so guess you get what you paid for. I’m putting it under the tree and think it will perfect for it. I can’t wait to put the tree up! For the price I would highly recommend this set!!!
