I was excited to try out this paste for custom gifts this year, but it doesn't work at all. I'm now out probably $50 in wood products because not only does this paste not work, but it leaves a weird orange stain on things as well. So if you want an orange cast stain on a cutting board, this is your paste. If you want burnt in designs - look elsewhere.

This wood burning set looked interesting so I bought it on a whim. It comes with two plastic templates, but I recommend using a brush to apply. I've only used it on a few small projects as a test, but I'm looking forward to doing some bigger projects soon.

Somewhat chunky despite stirring. I didn't read anywhere where it stated "Red Henna" in color and the picture of this product in the jar shows the yellow goldish color of the product - that being the same as the line of "Black" wood burn paste. Other than that, the product works but will bleed a yellow orangish color around your design while trying to activate.

I was so excited to use this paste, but it was very disappointing. I was working on a time-sensitive project for a gift. This paste wouldn't burn much at all. I'm so lucky to have purchased a burn marker pen as well - because that was how I got my project finished. And the pen cost less than half the price of this paste that did nothing except leave ugly orange stains on my wood.

The paste is very simple to use. I used the template to make several Christmas patterns, and the effect was very good! ! The price is also very cheap, I think I will repurchase it

The picture shows that the paste wld be a yellowish color, but in real life it's red causing a redish tint that isn't pretty

Like that it comes with instructions and practice templates.
