We researched the most universally accepted font for reading disabilities, have extra spacing between letters, words, and paragraphs, refrain from using all caps or italics, use shorter paragraphs and sentences, and lots of blank space to keep words simple and easy to read. NOTE: In reading various studies, and our own small sample study, we found dyslexia specific fonts to be very helpful to some readers and harder to read for others. In our findings, Arial font with extra spacing is the most universally accepted font for readers with dyslexia and while it may not be easiest for everyone, we hoped to reach the broadest audience. Perfect for struggling readers.
I have to say I love this book.I bought it for my son.He was eight, he's nine now. He struggled a bit to read and he loves this book. My whole family began to enjoy it, and he finished it. So we have actually purchased the second book.Great, buy, really helpful for kids learning to read

Thank you so much! My 10 year old struggles to read and hates it so much because it is so hard for him. He struggles to find books that he is interested in. Stating that books he can read are “for babies”. He is for the first time excited to read and willing to put in the hard work because it’s actually something he is interested in. The size of the letters and the spacing of the sentences helps this chapter book not feel so overwhelming. Please keep em coming!

Dyslexia friendly font that works!
My 9yr old loved this book. He has Dyslexia and loved the spacing and the font. He said the book was Epic!

Not for everyone
I didn't want to take too much off, because it's a good book. However, my son, newly diagnosed with dyslexia, says the font makes it's HARDER to read, not easier. So does a former student with dyslexia. HOWEVER, another former student, and a friend, both also with dyslexia, LOVE the text and say it makes things easier. If we remember that this diagnosis isn't a one size fits all, it's worth trying the book. But just be aware it may not be right for you.

Do not purchase for the font. Bought this for my dyslexic son and the font is not dyslexic font at all. It's also very small writing
