Absolutely love this chair
As most guitar players, we tend to look on the house where we are more confortable and stick to it for practice. Sometimes we even move around our favorite chair just to be in the place where we want to play. This chair has become my absolute favorite for playing. 1rst. it's confortable for playing, with needs different that for sitting. I got plenty of freedom for moving as the back is clean to allow you to move (and you can remove the back if you want), and yet, I get some lumbar support if I need it (not all songs rock your world, some soothe your soul, and this chair will go with you in both), you get freedom to move your legs to tap the tempo, or use your pedals, or lean over to adjust your amp or set your mic, or any other things we do while practicing or performing, as change pages on your book or tablet for the next sheet. 2nd. it's adjustable to different playing styles. If I'm playing more fingerstyle / classic I use a more traditional posture with low seat and a high leg for support, but if doing more rhythmic guitar or using a strap to hold the guitar, I can easily adjust the seat to higher level and enjoy a more relaxed legs position. 3rd. It's lightweight and sturdy!. I will keep moving this chair around in the house to play where I want to play (living room, in the home office room, backyard, or wherever I want to be), so, his light weight is an extra plus. and is sturdy enough to be used with confidence, no shaking or trembling (considering it's adjustable, not a single piece, I feared that). So, if you are considering this product, make yourself a favor and get one, I have tried more expensive ones before, and this one easily beats them. And if you have a friend who plays guitar and you have seen him/her awkwardly trying to get confy in common mobiliary, this is a great gift he/she will appreciate.

Works good, quality made.
This is a good deal here. Seems to be quality made, sturdy, nothing cheap (breakable) on it. Everything is adjustable. The seat is firm but comfortable. It went together quickly. I like it! I have an adjustable desk that I use in the standing position so if I wanna hit a lick on the guitar real quick I just grab this stool .

Very Nice, though a bit bulky for transport!
I just got my stool yesterday but haven't used it for three hours of play like I did my old stool last Saturday at a festival. I'll try to update this if anything drastically changes. My old stool was highly portable. That was it's only virtue; it folded pretty dang flat. I didn't get the expensive backrest version. But the seat was way too firm for long sessions. And I never used the guitar stand built into it, as I have better stands. So I got this stool after reading many reviews, knowing the backrest "forces" the user to sit boltupright somewhat. I liked the idea of a more comfortable seat and an adjustable footrest, things my old stool lacked. Here's what I just told their customer support after they responded to my inquiry as to what was the purpose of the screw-in knob right under the seat. Their answer was that it was just there for additional strength to the seat attachment that already has two bolts holding it on: "Common sense says to TELL the customer that in the assembly instructions AND to say to just tighten the knob for added strength. Frankly, it's redundant, as there are already two bolts holding that seat in place. Now, if it allowed that seat to flatten for transport, that would be a game-changer for this product! This won't fold flat like my old stool. My only "hiccup" in assembly was determining which way to attach the seat post. There's only two ways- the right one and the wrong one- LOL But I had to look at a picture of that post to see for certain that it leans angled towards the point of that triangular seat. Your instructions didn't help with that. If a non-discerning customer does it backwards, well, that's SIX bolts having to be undone, not just two. Worth mentioning in the literature. And, yes, MANY reviews complain how the backrest, even when fully extended, forces the user forward a bit too much. It's true, I've learned. I just now removed that backrest and found it more comfortable without it. I MAY transport it and use it this way. I MAY try bending that backrest bar just a little to make it more comfortable for a guy my size, 6' 3", 225 lbs. Love the comfort of that seat, but it does make me feel a bit tipsy, as it lacks enough rigidity in lateral side-to-side strength. Of course, the lack of rigidity is exactly why it's more comfortable than most of these stools, so I have no idea how to fix that without compromising comfort. Overall a good, solidly made stool." But it's not perfect.

Outstanding quality
Got the seat today I have a new show starting on Friday and needed a good seat. This seat is well built safely shipped, easy to assemble, and is an awesome comfortable seat. It is comfortable adjustable in so many ways, the back rest feels sturdy and stays in place as I lean back . The footrest is the best part,so many adjustments for your foot/feet. The leg bottoms have an adjustable knob for the wobbly floors we all love. This is a GREAT value for the money. I will update as far as longevity. But this seat is well worth your hard earned money. This is not a paid review I bought this just like the rest of you. I’m a professional musician and this is the one for me! Mostly foldable for pretty easy transport could be a touch better. Enjoy!

Seat hard as a rock!!
Build quality is excellent however the seat is as hard as a rock. I like everything about it except that. I bought this because of back and hip problems and though it’s comfortable for a very short time, I can’t stand sitting on it for a whole set while performing. What a shame. Will probably be returning it.

Great guitar seat--best I've ever owned!
While some buyers found the seat to be too hard, I have found it to be quite comfortable. The adjustable back rest is perfect, and has resulted in my having no back pain like I used to experience after playing while sitting on a backless stool. Quality is excellent--very sold construction. It looks great. I am using it in my music room at home. It really is a guitar seat, although I suppose it is also useable as a drum throne as well. You won't be disappointed with this product, in my vies.

Great Guitar stool! Money well spent!
I needed a comfortable, economical chair or stool to practice my Guitar so I shopped around and decided on this new stool on Amazon. I received it today and immediately opened the box to find a well packaged and carefully wrapped item. It required some assembly but if you read the included full color instructions you shouldn't have a problem putting it together. It comes with all the necessary hardware and tools to assemble it. The seat pad is really thick and supportive much like the more expensive stools that are available. It has great adjustability and should be able to accommodate most people. I'm 5'10" and there's plenty of adjustment either way on the seat height, backrest and for me more importantly the leg rest. I'm sitting on it as I write this review and its solid, stable, comfortable and easily movable. Also, it has a 3 year warranty so that's a comfort if there's any issue with it on down the road. If you are in the market for a great guitar stool you won't be disappointed with this one.

Almost perfect, the flaw is the back support - otherwise excellent product
Great guitar stool - adjustable, comfortable (for a while), and the legs are level at all four feet (unlike with a crap QuikLok version I bought previously, that had more than an inch of diagonal wobble, with no possible fix). =====Pros===== * Comfortable enough for moderate length sessions. * Adjustable seat and foot rest and back support. * Sturdy design. =====Cons===== * Back support is the weak point. It is adjustable vertically (and very limitedly on the depth axis from underneath the chair). However, the mechanism to set the cushion in place is a knob-head screw with a rubberized tip that applies pressure to the back of the back-support arm. No matter how hard you set it, the cushion tends to move and your back applies significant non-perpendicular pressure to it. This is a soft con, not a big deal. * Seat is not comfortable for men (maybe women?) for long periods due to design. It's a triangular saddle-style seat, and that on its own is great. When I sit in a common square chair I always angle it so I'm sitting on it like this, with the corner between the thighs. This feels far more natural to me. However, as a con, the design perplexingly has a bulbous point at the tip, applying pressure right to the areas you really don't want pressure applied. Not sure if this was for aesthetics or to prevent people from falling off like some comical infomercial, but it unfortunately prevents this chair from getting a perfect 5 stars. =====Ways it could be improved===== * In order to both address the main Con and also drastically improve it, the suggestion wouldn't be to simply remove the bulbous point at the tip, but rather to convert the seat to a dual-pad approach with a channel down the middle, entirely eliminating the nerve-bundle / anatomy pressure issue that so many styles of seats cause. Even though the Carmichael thrones dude apparently had imbecilic views, he got that design right (not that he was the first to think of it, just the first to capitalize on it for thrones and stools). A channel down the center of the seat both removes any pressure from where it shouldn't be and puts the strain where it's supposed to be - on the sit bones. It also provides a nice channel for the gassier sitters out there (not me, I promise, just a fun extra thought).

excellent for guitar
I bought this for playing guitar to optimize my posture and ergonomics, so I can play more and be more comfortable. I could not be happier with it. It comes well protected with the best straight forward assembly instructions possible, which takes about 5 minutes. It is solid, adusts to whatever seat height and foot height works for you, the seat is perfect with adjustable back support... even the rubber floor mounts are adjustable if your floor is uneven... all that and the price is unbeatable. Comes with a note from the owner of the small company in Florida with his cell number if you have any problems. Such a relief to deal with such a great company that makes a good product and has great readible no guess instructions. Thank you. P

Problemi della seduta dello sgabello
Purtroppo non del tutto soddisfatto 😕 Cigolio della seduta nonostante il forte serraggio delle viti.

Easy setup, great support
Easy setup, great support. The instructions are very easy to follow and a 4mm hex wrench is included for the saddle installation. Height adjustability is easy. Overall a good stool that feels sturdy.

Excelente producto.
Estuve buscando mucho un banco que me permitiera tocar semi sentado semi parado pero todo era muy industrial o demasiado caro hasta que encontré este banco. Yo preferí no ensamblar el respaldo, está genial. Es resistente y cómodo. 100% recomendable.
