Nope
I got this book for free and I’m so glad I did because I would have hated to waste my hard earned money. This book is average at best. I liked the idea of the story but it just didn’t live up to the hype. Austin Montgomery is supposed to be this tough no nonsense guy, he’s also supposed to be a Dominant. He’s actually a guy that can’t cope with change and so indecisive it’s ridiculous. I finished this book because I’m not a quitter. Don’t waste your time or your money with this book.

Looking forward to the next one
I've read most of Carrie Ann Ryan's paranormal genre books and I've loved them, so I wasn't sure how she'd manage the cross over to contemporary, but I have to say very nicely. This is the first book of the new series although it began with two novellas which introduced us to the Montgomery's. It seems to be starting out with lots of storylines as two of the siblings have marital problems, the head of the family has a severe medical condition, there are characters that are attracted to each other and who should get their own stories to tell, and even Shep & Shea from the first novella don't get off scott free in this book, they have their own little hiccup to deal with. I would hope that a lot of the sub plots are to be continued in upcoming books as they aren't complete in this book. However in this particular book Austin and Sierra have plenty of battles of their own to overcome. Austin is rugged, tattooed, broody and just a little kinky. I liked the fact that the kinkiness didn't overrun the story, yes it was there and yes it was hot but the story had some meat to it, it wasn't only about the sex, although I'm not complaining about the sex scenes.....at all! Sierra is scarred in more ways than one and her past just won't leave her alone and Austin has a crazy stalker ex and I thought from there I could see where the story was going, but then Carrie turns it completely around and introduces a surprise into the mix which I didn't expect......nicely done. I really enjoyed it and the eclectic mix of characters are great. All the Montgomery's are individuals but they all have one thing in common, they all stand together no matter what and have each others backs. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The sexy times are worth it!
Ok, so was this a great book? No, it wasn't but it was by no stretch of the imagination awful either. There was a lot going on and you had to use some real brain power to remember all of the other 7 siblings of the Montgomery family as well as friends and partners and kids and, and, and...There was a lot to the story and was by no means perfect but it was free so I enjoyed it. That sounds like a horrible thing to say but there are books that I've returned for less, so to me that is saying something. Will I remember this book, probably not but it was still interesting enough to keep me entertained for a few hours. With everything going on, I do have to say that Carrie Ann nailed the sex in this book, like some seriously hot stuff going on, and that probably saved it for me.I'm intrigued by the author and am contemplating trying another book in either this series or another one but I won't be rushing to get there. All in all I told probably say a solid 3.7 starts.

heartwarming with hot scenes
This wasn't too bad for a freebie. I grabbed it in the hope that this would also be a good series to get stuck into.Delicate Ink was released in 2015 so when I got to parts where BDSM was imparted into the plot, I realised that this was probably because of the 50 shades influence because it just didn't fit. This story is told in third person and multiple pov's another thing I couldn't get my head around with such a long series, surely these additional characters get their own book at some point? It just got confusing and I am used to reading first person now, so to be honest I wrestled with this too much but was determined to finish. This book had such potential but I am aware this is early work from Carrie Ann Ryan and I will have to read something current before deciding if I like this authors style, I need to know if she now writes first person?.The plot, well, it was ok, Austin is a swoon worthy tattoo artist and Sienna has just set up her own business across the street selling clothing, a boutique.Austin and Sienna have a frosty start when Sienna discovers Austins moody ways but they soon become friends then eventually more.Sienna has no family and Austin has it in magnitudes with brothers, sisters, cousins, there's a whole big bunch of Montgomery's so it was heartwarming to see Sienna who had been through tough times and loss finally get a happy ending and finding love.In summary a nice heartwarming story with hot scenes.

Stronger by design.
Sierra is starting a new life and opening her own business. Moving forward from the tragedies of the past, she steps into Montgomery Ink in the hopes of getting a tattoo but walks out with the image of Austin Montgomery in her head! Austin finds Sierra attractive and wants to do more than put a tattoo on her. What happens when their respective pasts leap into the present? Can they find a way to stay together whilst moving forward? This was such a good read, the characters had flaws that they tried to hide but only attracted the others more. Can't wait to read the next in the series

a new series to love...
I've come to realise I love, love series books but hate, hate the waiting!!, the Montgomery's I'm already in love with this family, I'm hoping there will be loads of books in this series about each of em, Austin and Sierra, he sounded absolute yummy and she sounded gorgeous, perfect couple, a few twists thrown in, nice inclusion of previous characters and follow ups to their stories, Shep and Shea from Ink Inspired get a nice portion of this story, but I have to say the rest of the Montgomery clan get a good mention so you get to here a little about them and how they are which is a bit of a teaser cause I want them all already!, arrghh the wait begins...
