Outdated for the new 2026 TOEFL test.
This is for TOEFL up to 2025. It has completely changed in 2026, but the eighth edition will not be out until may. Do not waste your money on this 7th edition. ETS has good material, but their books are behind.

Kindle edition doesn't include access code to download resources
Title says it all. Note that another review gives inaccurate information about the TOEFL test. This book does have the right number of tasks for each section (ETS recently shortened the listening section from 6 tasks to 4 tasks), but the speaking and listening sections of the kindle edition are not useful without the audio recordings.

Audios are all messed up
I received the code and used it to download the PDF, tests, and audio files. The first two were fine, but the audio files are either out of order or for another book. Basically, all the listening parts of the book are useless for me, and I’d like a refund, but I’m not sure I can get one anymore.

Reading and listening answers do not have explanation
Reading and listening answers do not have explanation. It only has answers. This is detrimental to students' preparation. I remember Barron's TOEFL book has explanation for reading and listening sections, on the contrary.

Audio code is restricted to 1 person and 4 downloads
I bought this for a group study situation and ordered multiple books. Only to find that students were complaining because they could not access the audio. No mention in the listing that audio access is can only be redeemed four times by one person. This should be stated clearly in the book description.
