Handy product
Needed to fit a new pair of handles to an old internal door. The existing square spindle was 10mm and modern handle spindles are 8mm. This was a great solution allowing me to fit new spindle . Great product.

Sleeves
Great did the job nicely where the spindle hole on the lack was different size to the privy thumb turn

Did the job but not perfect
These certainly enabled me to convert a 6mm spindle for 8mm latch. Not perfect - the mechanism works but there is some slack in the shim so the handle doesn't return to perfectly aligned position. (Used for a cupboard mechanism where I wanted a small knob style handle rather than a normal door handle but the mechanism fitted was already 8mm.)

Perfect fit, buy you need maybe three on each handle
I was replacing handles on quite an old door, but the only handles that would fit the unusual existing holes needed a 7mm spindle, whereas the existing locking mechanism and most of the replace spring cassettes wanted 8mm. These let me keep the old doors alive for a few more years for only a few pound. They fit perfectly meaning almost zero play between the spindles and the springs. I used three on each side which was probably about half a milimetre too long, but two would have been too short
