SpeedStyle attachment—good for short sections of hair
People complain that it doesn’t fit the FlexStyle… that’s correct. The title says SpeedStyle, so that’s what it fits. I found the attachment a bit fussy to attach but once I got it on, it did exactly what I hoped and planned. People with long hair—this is not the attachment for you to do a blowout. This is for shorter hair or shorter layers. I use it to dry my curtain bangs and it’s perfect. It would certainly get caught if I tried to use it to round brush the longer layers. I use it for a short period of time on short sections of hair. The blow dryer to which it is meant to attach is fantastic, and it seems to know which setting is best for each attachment, as it automatically adjusted both the fan speed and heat setting when I attached the brush. As I mentioned above, the attachment was a bit fussy to put on. Because it rotates easily, you can’t just pop it on. You need to depress the attachment button, slide it into the catches, and then release the attachment button. It might take a try or two to get the hang of it. It releases quickly and easily every time. I tried an off-brand brush that didn’t rotate but I returned it because it 1. got too hot to touch and 2. was awkward to use because it didn’t rotate (meaning I had to rotate the entire blow dryer to move the brush. Good value for an attachment that should have come with the SpeedStyle in the first place. If you read the title carefully, you won’t be surprised by it not fitting an appliance not mentioned in the description.

The connection end was two big for my Shark , ordered direct from Shark website and was half the price.
