Just got it and same major problem as so many who got sucked into buying this and from what I read nothing has been done about fixing this problem. The way it is all you can do is spray large pieces, forget doing any detail work. If your using it for make up your going to look like a clown because of this.

We charged it, attached the cup, added paint, and she was spraying color onto her art project within minutes. The spray comes out smooth and even, and the two pressure settings helped her practice both light details and broader background colors.
