Not For Elevated Drawing Boards
Great on level surfaces but on a slightly elevated drawing table the water runs over the sides.

Works very well but with a slight leak.
So this thing works great and helps keep my water clean. I tend to let my water get really dirty because I hate having to constantly change it. One big drawback is that the water leaks slightly into the base where you clean your brush but I have mitigated that by tightly attaching the water reservoir to the base and slightly proping the front (where the button is) upwards. This allows the water reservoir to have a better seal and not allow air to sneak in and allows the wash area to not overfill. Since applying my fix, it barely leaks to not at all depending on how well I applied the steps above.Edit:After using it for longer, the leak got much worse where I could barely paint for a couple hours before all the water drained. I completely fixed this though by adding washers to where the springs are located for the drain and tightening it down. I have zero leaks now. I suspect them adding thicker, stronger springs with more tension would fix the issues with this item.

Stupidly love this thing and wish I’d gotten it sooner
Forces me to clean my brushes and not let them sit in dirty paint water. Neat little contraption!!

Doesn’t work after first use
This in theory seems a great idea but after using it and refilling with water it never worked properly again. The water drained into the tank without a pause. I really wanted it to work to save me time and energy refilling my water source for cleaning my small brushes while I paint. If it worked it would be great for small brush paintings but not got large brushes. I’ll try to return it. Maybe it’s just the one I got??

Hobby Artist Godsend! Recommend.
The 2 cups is after 1 painting. The green was used for a 10x10 and still is clean! No more muddy water, 5 trips to clean bowls, and no more nasty brushes!Does not leak. Only con is large brushes will have to be hand washed still. Great for small acrylic paintings (up to at least a 10x10 without having to clean) and especially water colors..Grabbing 2 more just in case I can't find these again.

Ok for older kids
I got this for my younger kid that likes to water paint. He was very excited at first but quickly got over it. One of the problems it has is that the water fills up the washing area right to the brim or sometimes spills over. When it doesn't spill over, the moment the brush is placed inside it will. The drain button isn't really that useful because the water will drain with the slightest pressure from passing the brush while cleaning it. It's also wasteful, the cleaning area is a bit too big considering that it's pretty much one flush per cleaning. You quickly run out of water and find yourself having to dump the reservoir or filling the bottle a lot more often than you though.

Leaks
I don’t know if we just got a faulty one or what, but no matter what I do I cannot get the water to stay in the jug part. It leaks out and this defeats the purpose of the whole thing. Great concept, and again we may just have received a faulty one, but not super execution.
