So I'm no professional car valeter, but I've used either Carplan or Turtle wax car shampoo for donkies years with no ill effects to any of the 40 plus cars I've had over the years. This actual 5 litre tub was the cheapest I could find with next day delivery. It's a no fuss car shampoo that leaves the paint work clean and after a buff, nice and shiny. It smells ell ok and if you use a snow foamer it goes on thick too, so no need to use a separate bucket and sponge. Easy to wash away too.

Inexpensive but does give a reasonable wash. You need to use more concentrate than other brands, but pleasing results

Followed the instructions to the letter, washed with a big sponge, rinsed, then buffed with microfibre. The results speak for themselves and the strength of this means it’s going to last for months and months. Really impressed with how shiny my car has come up.
