These JBL speakers were an exact replacement for my previous speakers. No new holes were required and excellent sound quality

Had no problem installing them, I have four so far and I am planning on getting two more for the bow. Huge improvement over the old ones.

The media could not be loaded. These speakers fit right in the existing mounting holes for my Key West boat. I had JBL speakers, one dead and one with a broken screen. After replacing all four, I realized how bad the old speakers sounded. 9 years is a long time on a boat in the sun, wind and rain. Easy install, box includes wires and screws if you need them. I just pulled out the old ones and dropped in the new.

The original JBL brand system (CD changer, AM/FM stereo black box receiver, 4 speakers, aux jack and remote), in our 12 year old boat still works and sounds great. So when it came time to replace the tinny sounding speakers in the ceiling of our newish travel trailer, the only brand I wanted was JBL. And these new speakers sound much better than the originals but they are not as good as the ones in my boat. They are not as loud and don't have as much bass. But for the price they are great. I don't like the connector tabs on the speakers. They are designed to be connected to the speaker wire that came in the box, which have the same size connectors as the speakers, not the existing connectors that are likely to be in your boat. So I cut off a few inches of the wire that came with the speakers, connected the new wire to the speakers and spliced them to the cut off end of the OEM trailer wires. Its a hassle and adds another connection that can vibrate loose over time.

These paired with an amp sound Amazing super clear clean sound. has enough lows to keep it balanced. Absolutely love them.

These speakers were easy to install into the existing connections on my boat. They sound great for the price and I cannot wait to get these out on the water!
