I have ALWAYS wanted a Grandfather clock. I Love this clock! It looks great in our living room. The Chimes I am hoping will get a little louder after a little bit, I am hard of hearing and I can hear them but they seem soft. Easy to assemble just read and follow the instructions precisely. I was initially disappointed because I only heard the chimes and strike on the hour, and was told before I bought it that it would chime on the quarter and half hour. Initially it did not but within a few hours it started too. (Re read instructions and they address this that takes sometimes 2 hours before the clock settles in and starts doing that!) Duh! Every time it chimes, gongs or I just walk by it It takes my breath away. I hope it will be a heirloom for my daughter's and Grandson's. But until then I am enjoying it immensely!

Just received and set up this beautiful grandfather clock. The team who delivered it were not gentle with it and the box it came in was rough but the clock itself was not damaged. Keeping perfect time and sounds great! Not too loud and not too quiet-just perfect.
