Volcann portable bbq and cooktop
This is an excellent portable bbq, very compact, easy to put together, easy to light and cook on. We received the incorrect top so contacted the seller whose customer service couldn't be faulty. The correct item was delivered first thing the next morning. Highly recommend both the seller and the product.

Sturdy and easy to use
This is a very sturdy BBQ/fire pit. I am confident it will not damage grass nor will fall over or blow over. It is easy to put together and take apart. Used it a couple of times after purchasing a couple of weeks ago. I would buy it again.

Big enough for a family BBQ
I love this BBQ. I've used it loads of times to cook burgers and sausages for 4-5 people and this is as big as you need. I always use hardwood logs / kindling to burn and haven't tried it with charcoal but it cooks great using Oak and Beech. The split of having a grill on one side and a flat cooking plate on the other is a good move since it allows food to be flame grilled on the left and then kept warm on the right. The tools which come with the grill aren't much use since the burger flipper is too thick to effectively get under the burgers and the pointy 'meat spike' is only good for using to lift the grill top when adding more wood. However, with a simple pair of BBQ tongs both burgers and sausages can be turned with no problem. Air intake seems to be adequate as the fire burns well indicating that plenty of air is there to feed it. All the ash falls out from the long central point at the bottom where the angled fire pit fits together so containing it is easy - I use it on my fancy stone patio with no problems or worry about staining or damage to the patio. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a family sized wood / charcoal BBQ and I genuinely thing the meat tastes better cooked over the wood as opposed to using my big gas powered BBQ. I'd choose this every time over a gas BBQ so if you're reading this and you love outdoor cooking then this is the one for you - I bought the stainless steel version of this folding grill and presently that option does not seem to be available on Amazon. When it is available I'd advise going for the stainless steel version even though it costs around 40% more than this mild steel version - shop around for best deals. Mine was ยฃ89.99 for the stainless steel option. Thanks for reading / watching. You can find my full video review on the 'Thousand Yard Stare' channel on YouTube.

Not stainless steel
Used this BBQ once and cleaned off, left to dry came back and it's completely rusted. Looks years old! Using as a BBQ was okay but you can only fit a certain amount of coals into it, to slide lid on. So coals run out before anything is cooked thoroughly. Tried to look for a refund but there is no way of even contacting seller so I'm not happy. Left with a fire pit basically because you can't eat anything off the rusted surface.

Cooks things properly!
Awesome thing... love the study steel construction, tho you will defo need to oil it to stop rust! Great to have the hot plate as well for veg etc (frying onions works a treat) plenty enough room on the cook top for a small scale cooking session for 2-4 people... Took it on hols and both my mates were jealous of it compared to their budget specials....this will last a life time! Only negatives are that it spills a little ash out the bottom so can burn grass a bit.... Also I've found premium lumpwood charcoal to work best, briquettes dont get enough air to burn properly in this and cheap charcoal is just a gamble anyway as to how long/ hot it'll burn...

Sturdy flat pack bbq, innovative design
Bought this for our camper van trips since it packs flat. Very pleased. I think I could cater for 6 people from this bbq. For a) Very well made of pressed & spot welded mild steel, looks durable, very substantial & heavy - think this will last for years. b) Easy to assemble c) Grill / plate design very clever - ensures that if you get 'flare-up' you can shift food from the grill to the plate so nothing gets burnt - necessary because you can't change the height of the grill above the flames. Initially dubious about this, but subsequently sold on the idea. d) Tools provided are well thought through and useful e) Made in the UK. Always like to support our industries rather than buy from abroad. Negatives a) Could do with more ventilation holes to help draw - are only two at either end b) Mild steel discolors when heated; I have used aerosol stove paint to paint the sides to avoid this (see picture). Stainless steel cook-top version would be good. c) Grill a little difficult to clean (very wide bars) Overall, really pleased. For what we needed, the very best on the market at a value for money price. I will need to get / make a box for it for easy transport. Overall, strongly recommended.

Too much warping
I bought the stainless steel version of the above stove.. The warping is so bad it is almost unusable. I have 3 other bbq`s that are stainless steel and none of them have warped to such an extent that this one has. The BBQ will not sit flat on a flat surface as the warping has twisted it so much that one of the corners sits 2" off of the ground and the whole thing doesn't sit flat and rocks about. The flat part of the grill is now `dished` and the grill does not sit flat. The sides have warped so much that it has to be physically twisted to slot it together... Not happy at all

Great BBQ for camping
Really impressed from a BBQ perspective. I cooked chicken, sausages, burgers, and lamb steaks as well as veg. It was easy to get going and the grill is well laid out though you can lose smaller stuff through the gaps. We also used it as a firepit afterwards which was as good as you can expect for its size and it didn't damage the grass below just dropped some ash. Cleaning is a bit of a pain but I'm more of a scraper when it's hot anyway. A bag or case would be useful too!
