HAIRCUT/SHAMPOO/STYLING UMBRELLA - Blue(FOR HOME AND SALON USE!)

I've looked for a hair catcher to replace the old one I have used for years. They are hard to find, so I was glad when this one became available. For those who wrote that it doesn't form a trough to catch the hair, I wonder if they had used it yet. It seems flat, but once it is placed on the person's shoulders and pushed down, the trough forms nicely. It's not quite as deep as the picture, but it certainly is deep enough to keep the hair inside it. It's possible that this works best on an adult. I cut my husband's hair, so maybe on a child it would work differently. But it seems it would be about the same. When I'm finished with the haircut, I take the hair catcher off, walk to the porch, and tip the hair into the flowerbed where it disappears.

Seems a little flimsy compared to the picture but when I used it for my husband's haircut it sure did what it was supposed to do. For my 7-year old son we just used some clothes pins to adjust it so that worked too. All in all it was a good buy considering the low price.

Utter junk. Don't be fooled by the picture. It will NOT stand up like that. Instead it WILL lay flat and spill anything more than a bald man's hair that falls into it onto the floor. after trying numerous ways to get it to stand up we gave up and I bought a normal cape and will just sweep the kitchen floor again. There is a more expensive version from Japan that seems to get decent reviews, but not worth extra price and shipping.You might try using one of those dog collars, because that would work better than this.

This product works get. It catches all the hair when I cut my husband's hair and I just take it outside and shake the hair our in the wind. Would recommend to anyone.

Only the Incredible Hulk's neck would fit this hair umbrella. The velcros was either way too short to secure the neckline area. Or the opening was way too big. I had to use clips to secure the neckline so that hair doesn't go down the neck as much.It only reduces the amount of hair fallen to the floor but you still have to clean up, because somehow hair is still found on the floor.

My wife loves this thing. Doesn't work so great on adults, but I'm a 44 in the shoulders.... works great for the kids though. My wife cuts their hair and it really does help. It may not catch everything 100% of the time, depends if you're using scissors or clippers, but it really does work.

I was so excited to get something that appeared to catch all the hair and keep the mess off the floor. I was disappointed when I first opened it because I could not get it folded back flat as it arrived. I then used it for the 1st time this weekend and it is not a good quality item. The umbrella would not stay flipped up and there is nothing to hold the straps on each side. I made it work by clipping each strap with some hair clips but once you unsnap it and pull it over your head most of the hair falls out of the neck hole and onto the floor.Needless to say, it quickly landed in the garbage can. I'll go back to using the traditional hair cape.

Really works well! My wife trims my hair using it. At first she hated that I "wasted my money" on it, but now she reaches for it as soon as I ask her to cut my hair. It makes cleanup a breeze for her; no hairs falling to the ground.
