Pro Animal KM Inspire Grooming Clipper Kit, Dogs, Cats & Horses

I love these clippers! I have a Springer Spaniel with a thick coat of hair. These clippers walk right through it with ease. The attachments have the proper fit and form to work as designed. There are less expensive clippers on the market that I have not tried. I went with the best I could find. I used Oster barber clippers designed for thinner human hair, and they didn't work well. I eventually got the job done, but it was hard on my dog and me. These have shaved (no pun intended) over 15 minutes off my dog grooming time. My dog and I are both happy with these clippers.

UPDATE: this diamond has turned into a dud. The attachments are easy enough to take on and off, but in removing the blade set and/or taking the blade set apart for sanitizing, it doesn’t clip anymore. The blade set is a pain to remove/reattach, but the worst part is, I’ve spent a lot of money for this to give me one good grooming session for my dogs. Total bummer, would not buy again. I really didn’t like the thought of spending so much money on a pair of clippers, but I took a chance and haven’t regretted it. I’ve bought other cheaper clippers and really struggled, especially when I’ve let my shih tzu’s hair get a little long between grooms and her hair gets a little matted. The metal guards that come with it are sturdy and didn’t really get tangled up in her hair - the plastic ones that usually come with clippers really have a tough time when I’m shaving my dog. The clippers themselves are hefty and it’s well-made. I like the two speed motor. The clippers get warm, but no more than others I’ve used. Great pair, they’ll save me some money in the long run!

I have a 13 lb mixed-breed (some Shih Tzu+terrier+yorkie) dog and finally decided it'd be more economical for me (vs spending $120 each grooming) to buy a well established brand ( Wahl) clipper with removable blade and with a few common combs. I was used to using comb-less institutional Oster clippers in vet clinics and laboratories, so when I received and tried this light, smooth, quiet, more-precise (especially with comb) and smaller clipper - that was also so pretty!, - I was amazed. This makes clipping my dog kind of fun for both of us (ok..a bit more for me than her). I know this Wahl clipper is exceptionally durable and that I will always have access to parts and other blades, combs if needed - which is important considering the investment. Highly recommend this product.

We have a standard poodle that was a rescue and afraid of everything, not to mention has very thick curly hair (poodles have hair not fur) that needs groomed often. I had purchased a cheaper set of Wahl trimmers at Walmart that was battery operated. The cheaper pair barely went through his hair and lost power quickly. These are amazing! The chord is very long and the noise level expected. They cut smoothly through his hair and are much faster to use than the other pair I had. Very much worth the price if you are doing your own grooming.

At first I immediately prepared to send this clipper back for a refund. I have two old English sheepdogs and at first it wouldn’t even cut my dog’s hair at all. I even attempted to cut them without any of the guards and it still wouldn’t cut the hair at all. I was super disappointed. This was a lot of money to spend and what scared me even more is the return policy. Not only would I have to wait up to 30 days for the refund but it’s not guaranteed that I would even get all my money back. It was possible that I only received a partial refund and still have no clippers to cut my dogs. So before I sent it back I decided to purchase a brand new clipper blade and give it one more shot. Just in case I picked the cheapest #10 blade I could find ($15). Well I’m thankful that I done this because with the new blade it cut thru my girls hair like a hot knife to butter. Anyone who has ever cut an old English sheepdogs coat knows it’s not an easy task and it actually did amazing. I have decided to keep the clippers and I can’t say I’m not happy with the quality AFTER replacing the blade it came with. You honestly shouldn’t have to do that but it is what it is.

I have a cat that has fluffy fine hair that mats, and I also have a collie that I need to trim occasionally. So I found this clippers, easy to use, very versatile, not very heavy, has different speeds, it also has a lightweight body to reduce hand fatigue. So I think this one is perfect for me.

Look elsewhere. Does not cut good. I bought this thinking that it must do better than my no-name $30 cordless clippers. Nope! The old wireless clippers with ceramic blades cut so much better than these wahl clippers. Maybe they delivered with dull blades. Also very noisy and vibrate quite a bit. Not a great combo for my dog who doesn't like being clipped to begin with. I have sunk so much money into these, that I might try a new blade to see if it helps. Will update review if new blade helps.

I love the WAHL shaver. I have a tiny, 12-year-old Persian who only weighs 5-8 pounds. He has medical conditions and I worried about hurting him with hand clippers, as well as hiring his skin as cats tend to have thin skin. I plugged it in and it worked great. I am sure they would work great on any 4-legged baby.
