Good IMU
Couple issues I ran into, been great after I got it working: - Wiring (for IยฒC mode): - PS0 and PS1 to ground โ selects IยฒC - RST and BOOT to 3.3V - AD0 to 3.3V โ address A (0x4B) - AD0 to GND โ address B (0x4A) - Give it a moment to boot โ needs ~100ms after power-up before init succeeds. I retry init in my loop instead of once at startup. - Over-polling causes problems: - Asking for 3 fused reports at 50Hz starved the chip's on-board fusion scheduler โ output froze (quaternion stopped updating even though it looked "connected") - Reduced the load โ rotation vector at 10Hz, raw accel/gyro at 50Hz โ and it ran reliably - Skip the magnetometer if you don't need absolute heading โ the mag-based rotation vector was flaky; Game Rotation Vector (gyro+accel only) was smooth and stable.

It doesnt' work..
It didn't work. The ESP32 couldn't even detect the I2C device.

Works great!
I used a Lonely Binary ESP32-S3 Wifi board to connect with this board the first time attempted it did not work. But when I placed both the ESP-32-S3 and the BNO085 on a breadboard and wired them with jumper wires it worked fine. I recommend using ChatGPT to get started it can show you how to wire the board and help writing the difficult code needed to deal with the 9 axis sensors and Magnetic compass. It is a very accurate chip.

Best IMUs for the money!
After receiving these in the mail I was a little skeptical at first but after testing them out these chips really do the job well and their legiimate! Definitely ordering more of these!

Works with the Adafruit_BNO08x libaray
Worked flawlessly with the BNO08X libaray. Tested on a Raspi 0 2W with python
