A compact unit that easily starts your car. Car battery went dead and started the car no issues. Had to stop on way to garage and unit started me again with 2 lights still showing as a charge level. Handy to keep in the boot to get you out of those surprise moments when your car surprises you with a flat battery. Why did you choose this product over others?: Compact and has already proven itself. Battery life: Can't fault this item started my car twice and still had some life left. Charging capability: Easy to charge and holds it's charge well. Says to charge every month to keep it topped up but.kust say forget about this and a few.months on it doesn't seem to have dropped any battery life. Car start: Started my car twice without needing to be charged Well worth the money for that reassurance should you need it and stall your car it will get you up and running again. Ok, so I think this thing went to Hogwarts. My sons Fiesta spends a good portion of its life on the drive, slowly leaking all its volts away not being driven. So battery starting is a constant problem (as the concept of moving to the car and starting it every so often is an alien concept to this lad). We’ve jumped and bumped this car, borrowed the local garages booster pack (couple of hundred quids worth of kit) with no success and even had the AA out once to be told the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I had a choice of a trickle charger or this - as this can also charge other equipment with a USB cable, this won out and I took a punt on it at a sale price. I’ve no idea if it has elves inside or something - it has successfully started the car twice now (with no additional charges in between), first time each time. It’s beyond simple, clear visual signals to get going and even a light to help see the engine bay when it’s dark. And it’s really small - about the size of two mobile phones stacked on each other. I’m suitably impressed with this thing, no faults at all and it seems well put together with a solid feel. If I had to be really picky, when it’s all connected the green light to show you it’s ok to start isn’t the easiest to see - nothing that would remove a star though. For the money this thing is fab.

When I ordered this, the first thing I did was look at reviews. I was very skeptical at first and thought it was more of a gimmick than anything but it arrived and did exactly what it said it would do! It arrived very well packaged and isn’t the biggest of things but wow, it definitely packs a punch. It’s compact enough to fit in your glove box and is a similar size to a powerbank which this can also double up as although I wouldn’t recommend it personally myself. This was ordered initially for my van when I had an issue with the battery and didn’t expect it to start but this did the job within minutes… popped the bonnet, connected the positive and negative cables and then went to turn the ignition key and it fired up first time. So easy to use and gives you peace of mind whilst also providing great charging options

After having to work away from home for over 2 months. My car was left unused and its battery had drained. This jump starter saved me when I returned, to my surprise it arrived the next day to a click and collect counter. And the jump starter was already charged up to 75% out the box. To be on the safe side I plugged it in and it was 100% charged in less than an hour. The instructions had a handy guide that tells you the red lead goes to the + terminal and the black lead goes to the - terminal. Apparently the jump starter would automatically detect if the crocodile clips were placed the wrong way around but I didn’t test this. After a few seconds my car engine miraculously started. For its cheap price I really can’t complain, having done its job it is excellent value for money compared to other jumpstarters that are 2 or 3 times the price. It’s a compact size, about the size of a large USB powerbank (which it technically is) and would fit in a glovebox of side storage in the boot or door pocket. My only slight criticism is the cables are a bit short but it still did the job resting it on the engine cover and it took me a minute to find the boost button on the side of the crocodile clips.

I am so obsessed with this little thing! Car was in storage for 3 months and the battery was dead. I got this to try jumping it myself. INSTRUCTIONS: very simple. you attach red clamp, then black, wait for solid green light, press the “boost” button if the light is flashing, then try to start your car. *VERY IMPORTANT* I almost missed this in the instructions - after your car starts you must remove the device within 30 seconds or it can do damage. Also- although it arrived with full bars, I charged it before use as instructed and it continued to charge, stopping when it was actually full. So def recommended charging on arrival. HOW IT WORKED: It took several seconds for the green light to turn on, so be patient. If it doesn’t turn on, try redoing the clamps. Once the light was green I tried to start the car and it didn’t work twice. I almost gave up, but the dash lights came on the second time and the engine made a noise, so I pressed the boost button and tried again - and it started !! I think it only didn’t work at first due to my battery being dead for ages, because it worked immediately on subsequent uses. Yes, subsequent uses. I drove my car around for a couple of hours and everything seemed fine for the next day. Then after not driving it for a day it wouldn’t start again. I had forgotten to charge the device but it instantly worked and was at 50% charge after. I had a (correct) feeling it would keep happening every time I turned my car off but my mechanic was closed for the weekend and I had some errands to run- so I just brought the little guy with me. Since it’s a USB plug I charged it while I was at the gym and it was fully charged by the end of my workout! I then had to use it two more times before going home, at that point it had 75% charge. So you can get 2-3 jumps out of one charge for sure, maybe even 4! Now I thought my battery kept dying because this little guy + driving around wasn’t able to give it enough juice after being stored for ages, so I got a smart battery car charger and charged the car battery for the full 4 hours recommended. After that my car still wouldn’t turn on! Once again the little guy saves my butt - I was immediately able to jump it to take it to my mechanic, who confirmed my battery was absolutely shot from being in storage. Honestly I’m pretty impressed this little thing was able to jump a toasted battery so consistently when a full battery charge via a wall outlet didn’t even work. FINAL THOUGHTS: This thing absolutely rocks. Amazing value for the price. Some people complain about only being able to get a couple uses out of it before having to charge the device- but as mentioned I’m just amazed that this tiny, super light weight thing has so much power ! This thing is lighter than those portable batteries you use for your phone and just bigger than the length of my hand. So easy to toss in a bag and it charges so quickly. One thing I feel a little stupid about, for anyone else who is too used to charging their iPhone with a usb-C wall mount: the charger is USB A to USB C. At first I only saw the USB A port, so I plugged that bit into the device and the USB C end into my phone’s wall mount. I then saw the little USB C port in the side which labeled “in” and realized I had plugged it in backwards. So just make sure you don’t make that ditzy mistake or else I don’t think it would actually charge. The USB A ports are labeled “out” so I think it could double as a power bank for your phone or whatever which is cool!

الجهاز ممتاز ماشاءالله واستخدامي له قليل ممكن ١٠ مرات خلال سنة على عدة سيارات صغيرة او كبيرة منها واحدة منتهية بطاريتها لها ٦ شهور وماشاء الله شغلها. الى الان تقريبا سنة مافي اي مشاكل او تسخين. بس انتبه لنقطة انك لازم تفكه من البطارية بعد تشغيل السيارة

Acheté pour faire démarrer une batterie sur une 308 Diesel (de 2012), ça fonctionne parfaitement. J'avais une crainte pour pouvoir trouver un endroit pour mettre la masse car le câble est très court et sur ce modèle de 308, la masse de la batterie n'est pas accessible (seulement le plus), mais impeccable, j'ai pu trouver vers le capot de quoi mettre la pince noire sur la carrosserie pour faire masse. Et démarrage du premier coup 👍

Das Gerät ist einfach genial und macht genau das, was es soll, nämlich Starthilfe bei entladener Batterie geben. Wer hier negativ bewertet, der hat irgendwas falsch gemacht. Die Verpackung ist sehr edel, das Gerät auch, alles hochwertig und optisch ansprechend. Mein Mercedes A180 1,6 Liter startete nach 4 Monaten Standzeit und Überwinterung nicht mehr. Die Batterie hatte nur noch ca. 10,5 V statt 12 V. Also bestellte ich mir dieses Gerät hier. Es wurde sogar mit 100 % Akkufüllstand geliefert. Ich habe es gemäß Anleitung direkt an die beiden Batteriepole angeschlossen. Nach ein paar Sekunden erkennt das Gerät dann, dass es an eine KFZ Batterie angeschlossen wurde und die Connect LED leuchtet grün. Erst dann gibt es 12 V aus. Ich habe zur Sicherheit noch den Boost Knopf gedrückt. Man muss ihn kurz gedrückt halten, dann klackt es und dann kann man los legen. Da die Connect LED aber nicht grün blinkte, sondern grün leuchtete, war die Batterie nicht Tiefentladen und der Boost Modus wäre nicht unbedingt notwendig gewesen. Aber ich dachte mir viel hilft viel :D Danach habe ich die Zündung angemacht und das Fahrzeug startete sofort ganz normal ohne jegliche Verzögerung :) Anschließend hatte die AstroAI noch 75 % Akkufüllstand wie auf meinem Bild zu sehen ist. Ich gehe also davon aus, dass man mind. 4x Starthilfe mit Boost Funktion geben kann, ohne Boost wahrscheinlich öfters. Das aufladen mittels USB-C und meinem Smartphone Schnell-Ladeadapter ging auch recht zügig. Ich lade es jetzt immer voll und lege es dann für die nächste Panne in den Kofferraum. Da ich bald wieder in den Urlaub fliege und mein Auto dann am Flughafen stehen lasse, fühle ich mich jetzt mit der Starthilfe im Kofferraum auch deutlich sicherer. Fazit: Ich bin absolut zufrieden und konnte mir so den Batterieausbau zum externen laden sparen und das alles für nur 35 €, echt top :)
