This is a great book. Easy to read and very understandable. It enhanced my thought of the subject written. Recommend to all.

Ok book for a kids book report but really not relevant for modern era - Bible is more contemporary - relevant even when reading about history . Love HG WELLS nonetheless

Very dated information as you can find in some authors that can only see their own point of view. That anyone could seriously support the ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny theory that was based upon hand made drawings that were woefully inaccurate shows a lack of critical thinking. Some of the later information was helpful, but the authors depreciation of the Middle Ages shows some lack of vital info. "The Victory of Reason" by Rodney Stark sheds much light on that era.
