Firstly it is expensive but oh my days is it FAST!Forget plastic or wooden sledges...this thing almost hovers and gives the best ride on the snow you cold ever imagine....obviously be careful with sharp objects but the base is thick rubbery material which helps performance..WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!Many a jealous look on the slopes!!! Ha Ha
