Well designed rat traps!
Okay....I just got these glue traps yesterday afternoon....I put out three of them and caught two fat rats! Here's the thing....I reckon you need to know something about how they're moving around. I had caught some brief glimpses so I knew where they were coming in. Bait traps....meh.These Dragon traps are big. And you can fold them along perforations to suit the requirements. The glue is spread evenly, and it really works.Caught a bigger Adult rat. I was impressed that the glue held. I've already ordered another pack. I really like how big the trap is unfolded.Okay, it's several weeks later, I reckon. These are extremely effective if you are aware of rat behavior. Rats are very social, so if one is caught in the trap and cries out, others come to see what's up. Prudent placement works well. I caught four the other night.... juveniles, to be sure. That glue burns fiercely with dark smoke ...yep, that's a fine thing. The size of the trap is important. All four were caught on one trap. Glue traps are the only real way to catch a smart rat. I don't put my traps out all the time. Trap areas of movement, not baited locations. Rats are intelligent. So, you have to come at them from a movement angle. Use their behavior against them. If you hear one making a racket, give overnight. Why just catch one?I've had some experience with these traps now. Rats are very intelligent. So, I let them get accustomed to the area, let them feed on a baited situation....cabbage works really well, btw...and here's an important point....don't leave your scent on the baited area. Let them do their thing, eating....then you put your traps out to catch them all.

SOO cruel... but effective
I try not to think about HOW the rats are dying, just that they're not up in my attic chewing on my wiring potentially burning my house down. I live in Houston and my neighborhood has a rat INFESTATION from all the debris and crap people pile up in their backyards - which I can't control my neighbors... I caught about 3-4 rats in my first few weeks of setting up mechanical traps. However, I now have about 5-8 various sized mechanical traps and the rats have learned to outsmart them, retrieve the bait, sometimes trigger the trap, but NEVER get caught. I have seen people suggest blocking off the crawl space from the detached garage to the attic, but I have all my house wiring going through the crawl space. Makes is impossible to block the rats from getting into the attic...hence the glue trap attempt, I've caught 2 rats in different areas. It's a pretty horrible way to go, and you can see signs of their struggle after they're stuck in the glue, so it's gut wrenching. I put peanut butter globs on the two "bait" areas - that seems to help attract them. Easy to dispose of once they're dead, I just through the whole glue trap away, you can't re-use them in case someone was wondering... also placement is KEY, I try to put the glue traps where the rats really have no where else to go except across the glue trap. As much as it pains me to kill them in this manner, I'd rather kill a rat than have to pay for the thousands of dollars in damages I've seen them cause to other houses. Good luck!

Large Size Mouse Glue Trap, Sticky Glue Board Traps Mice Rats Rodents Cockroaches Bugs Ants Spiders Scorpions, etc.
Large Size Mouse Glue Trap, Sticky Super Hold Glue Board Traps for Mice Rats Rodents Cockroaches Bugs Ants Spiders Scorpions , Extra Large (8.5" x 12.5") , Lucky 7 PacksThese are a different glue trap from the low quality I have purchased and that arrived very slowly from China. This order came in a few days and the price was good. I opened the first I will use and placed in my attic. The Glue trap opened up like a book with substantial support and no sag. The glue is sticky enough to catch and hold a pretty small mouse or a big rat, at least that is my first look opinion. The center of each of the opened up pages have a bait holder for something like peanut butter or another semi goo liquid for a bait. so it will be there for a while as a scent. I like them well enough for an initial review rating and if they really perform, I may return an give them another star.

Very sticky
I have caught a few mice with these boards that were outsmarting my traditional traps. Easy to use and easy to dispose of the mouse and board after catching.

Don't waste your money
These boards were terrible! The rat would get on them and just walk right off without getting stuck at all. We even had a small mouse walk on and right back off. I bought these because the reviews were good but these traps are terrible!

Caught the critter the 1st night.
These work fast. My husband has been trying to trap this critter for a few weeks. It was smart and learned how to set the traps off without being captured. So, I looked for other options. I have children & for safety reasons it had to go because we aren't going anywhere! I received these quickly, the next day. I placed gloves on and baited this with a pecan and placed it under the kitchen sink. I researched areas for placement to ensure a higher success rate. My husband was skeptical. He checked the glue board in the morning and bam,a catch!!! Finally!!!! This was an affordable and convenient for me to rid my home if this rodent. I don't care about whether it is inhumane or not because they carry deadly bacteria and germs which is inhumane to my family!!! I will set another tonight for stragglers. This works and I recommend.
