Stigma Wireless Rotary Tattoo Pen Kit - Tattoo Gun With 10 Ink Colors & 20 Cartridge Needles

I requested this tattoo pen as it said that it was for complete beginners and came with everything that you needed to get started. The listing was not clear if any ink was actually supplied, so I was glad to see that there was a set of small bottles of coloured ink. As a newbie I have no idea if coloured ink is supposed to be thick, but the viscosity of this coloured ink was greater than that of a bottle of black tattoo ink that I have. I shook it well but it still came out thick. There is some fake skin included but I do not think that this is the best version for beginners as it is very thin and I was almost going right through it - having to put a thicker piece of fake skin underneath to protect my table. This piece of skin had also been folded over in the box, so it was extremely difficult to practice over the 'hump', which I struggled to stretch whilst trying to tattoo a line across it. The transfer paper supplied works well, but again, it is creased across the centre and difficult to get it to lie flat. The grip tape does what it should. It is narrower than other tapes that you can get, but it grips to itself well and makes for a good grip on the pen. The instructions for the tattoo pen as a whole have pictures of an entirely different pen and you have to work out how to put it together yourself. There are absolutely no instructions on how to use the tattoo pen - you have to watch many Your Tube videos to find all the information that you need. The instructions for the battery/power section are clear, so that you can see which colour light equates to what voltage. You only get one pair of gloves which isn't very generous! I'm wearing my own nitrile gloves in the video as my hubby and I had a little practice with it on some thicker fake skin and got ink on the only pair that came with the pen. (I have also used a tattoo pen protective cover during the video, which did not come with the set) All in all this is a brilliant wireless tattoo pen, which works well with the needles supplied. The needles are a lot better quality than some others that I was reviewing. I think that this set represents good value for the retail price of £69.99 and I would happily recommend it. Any professional tattooists reading this/watching the video - please excuse my wavy lines and inconsistent pressure .. I am a total beginner and this was the first time I ever picked up a tattoo pen!

Absolutely amazing for beginners Just no way of knowing the voltage 😭

I'm a relative notice at tattooing and have thus far used a gun type machine, so was curious to find out whether a pen type would be any better. I know from talking to other tattooist, gun type is very much a personal choice. The kit as supplied has everything you need to get started and the pen itself seems very well made and nicely finished off in a sort of gun metal grey colour. It is sufficiently weighty to feel nicely balanced in the hand and is quite easy to hold. What I really liked about this pen is that while it can be operated via the included mains lead (you will need your own transformer) it can also be used wirelessly via the included battery and this for me is a game changer. The battery can be charged via usb and simply clips into the back of the pen via an rca type plug. The battery has an on/off button and a coloured LED which lights up and shows the set speed, which can be changed via + and - symbols and correspond to a colour chart on the battery itself. What I found was that even at full speed, the pen didn't vibrate to the point that it made my hand numb, which I have experienced with gun type machines. The kit itself comes with the pen machine and battery, usb and mains lead, a box of 20 needle cartridges, ink pots, traction tape, 7 small bottles of ink and a transfer set as well as a set of gloves, so for the advertised price of £69.99 it represents good value in my opinion, particularly as at the time of writing, there is a £20 off voucher. So far I have only practiced on fake skin but this machine is easy to use and I think will sway me to prefer using the pen type over the gun type of machine.

I have always loved anything arty and there for am always looking new ways to express that want. This is a great value set that comes with all that is needed for the beginner in the world of tattoo art. The gun itself is surprisingly light weight for the size and easy to handle when working with it. It has it's limitations, but considering a professional tattoo guns runs into the 100s of pounds for a beginner this is a amazing value. I definitely suggest you grab some of the fake test skin before going for the real thing as this is not a toy and what you do is there for good.

Typically Chinese cause not even correct instructions! Ink is cheap and nasty... Do not use, better off paying for a tattoo than getting all correct stuff needed. As to me, this is some mickey mouse mess yourself up kit

This is just what you need when you are starting out tattooing. Or if you want to practice for just fun. The benefits of having a wireless machine are numerous and allow much more freedom when detailing tattoos in awkward areas. The needles can be changes quickly and can also be used wired if you run out of charge. For big pieces and multiple tattoos, you may need an additional battery pack if you do your work remotely. The practice skin is a great way to practice before taking the art to real skin and it also comes with stencils if you need to have a guide for your work. The range of speeds are great and facilitate a range of different styles. The battery on top of the needle can add some extra weight so it can take time to get used to.

Je recommande fortement cette machine à tatouer, elle est fantastique, je suis débutante dans le tatouage et franchement je ne suis pas du tout déçue super légère, réconfort Ables à avoir en main pour pouvoir faire des tracés en plus livrer avec une peau synthétique et quelques matériels pour pouvoir commencer, je trouve cette peau vraiment génial, au niveau des réglages, cette machine possède plusieurs codes couleur facile à comprendre, vous pouvez adapter la vitesse de pique. La durée de la batterie est incroyablement durable pour ceux qui débutent dans le tatouage, vous pourrez constater que vous sentirez vite à l’aise avec cette machine.
