I purchased this water pik after a few weeks of deliberation and comparing a number of alternatives. I had quite a Iot of dental work done over an 18 month period, having broken off one of my front teeth. It was not until this happened that I realised how bad my previous dentist had been in looking after my teeth. I have gastritis and it was not until he retired and I changed dentists I realised just how badly my teeth had been affected by my gastritis. Hence my decision to see how I could help myself improve my aural health. Now that most of the work is completed I have a dental routine which appears to be helping keep down the acid and reducing the damage to my teeth. A big part of this is with the assistance of the Water pik. I use it at least twice a day; firstly to remove the food debris which accumulates between my teeth- in places where I cannot use a tepe brush and again after I have brushed my teeth to remove any acid produced by my toothpaste. Followed then by Curasept mouthwash which again helps to protect against acid. I still use the tepe brushes - I do not see the Waterpik as an alternative, but as additional to my usual routine. The Water pik has a small brush for use around dental implants and braces, etc. which is extremely useful. The pack comes with 4 attachments, one of which I use as a nose cleaner, again effective for helping with my gastritis. I also use it any time during the day if I have eaten anything which has stuck between my teeth. Again it cleans the debris extremely efficiently. Some of my teeth are very close together. Before purchasing I read numerous comments regarding difficulty of use. As with a previous reviewer, my dentist stated that there was no real proof that this works instead of string flossing, but I find string flossing not easy to use and the Waterpik gives me a better result. I use my Water pik in the shower which reduces the problem of water spray significantly. Other than that, spray is kept to a minimum if used over a sink or basin keeping the mouth very slightly open and not stood upright looking through a mirror. The Water pik has the added advantage of 3 strength levels and I would recommend starting on low and filling with warm water. Not too much of a problem if used correctly. In my opinion, I have found that the battery life is also very good. Bearing in mind my usage I need to charge it about every 10-14 days. I initially gave it 4 stars as I have not yet been able to test its use for travel, although I cannot foresee any problem with that in my particular circumstances Would I recommend it - without a doubt had it not started leaking However I have found that it is leaking quite badly. Not sure where the leak is coming from but will consider contacting Amazon in view of this. I left it on the window sill and the next morning there was quite a lot of water leakage as you can see. I hadn't noticed it before as it is usually empty or I empty it when I have finished using it. I usually have to fill it at least once and had noticed it before but thought that I had spilt water when filling it. The alternative, make sure its emptied after every use. 3.3.2024 update Amazon changed my Waterpik soon after I wrote my original review becaus3 of the leakage of water. However my second one also leaks. However, I have persevered and just ensure it is empty after use. I would add however that I do find it gets really messy in use and need to clean it every day, particularly the water pipe and the water reservoir is not easy to clean inside. Having said all that I would completely disagree with my previous dentist and wish I had bought one before.

Works well, holds a charge well. Not as "powerful" as my previous flosser but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing or not. Only issue is that the filler/ flap cover for topping up water has broken. Seems weak and this soon happened after purchase. My previous one was fine for years.

​I was initially excited about this water flosser. The design is sleek, the unit feels comfortable to hold, and the three pressure settings offer great option. I also initially thought the magnetic charging base was a nice touch but it's flawed. ​ Upon receiving the unit, I plugged it in to charge as per instructions, but the charging indicator light does not function as expected. The "low" battery light illuminates immediately when plugged into the magnetic base and stays solid, but the charging light below it, does not flash as it should or illuminate in any way to indicate that the battery is actively receiving a charge. I have even tried different USB plugs and outlets (just in case) but it is definitely the unit not charging. ​Without a proper indicator - flashing light or a change to "medium" or "high" - there is no way to confirm that the battery is charging or to know when it's full. ​ While the physical design and pressure options are promising, a rechargeable device that fails to provide clear confirmation of charging - or potentially fails to charge at all - is a major letdown right out of the box. This issue makes the product functionally unreliable.

Very good cleaning, tank is of reasonable size, easy to fill. Easy and quite pleasant to use. Build quality needs improvement. The tank lid plastic got brittle after 3 years when the first hinge broke and after about 3.5yrs the lid broke off altogether. Cleaning the unit is a bit of a faff but doable. The unit started leaking internally after about 3 years. After 4yrs of daily use the battery is dead, lasts just 3-4 sessions now. It is their top of the range and most expensive model when I would have expected more longevity in all aspects, ie, not quite value for money for me.

Bought a water flossed on dentist instructions. I weighed up the options but settled on this one and don’t regret the decision. Not for everyone, my wife hates water flossing but with three pressure settings I find it useable. Only down side is a small on board reservoir so you need to refill mid flossing and it is a bit chunky!

Plusieurs commentaires : a/Il fait bien le job b/grand réservoir donc pratique car pas besoin de le remplir en permanence c/contrôle qualité est questionnable : le produit est tombé en panne (bouton on/off inopérant) au bout de 1 mois pile .Ce qui explique la note 3/5 d/on aurait aimé 4 niveaux de puissance au lieu de 3. e/attention, prévoir adaptateur pour prise secteur française Le support client Amazon est impeccable : retour produit sans problème. Vais racheter le même en espérant que cette fois, le contrôle qualité aura été bien fait
