I chose Renata 399 SR927 W Silver Oxide Swiss made battery for my Invicta Chronographs and my other quartz movement time pieces. Special notation, Silver Oxide batteries are also made in the United States. They are cheaper to make (hence the smaller cost), the only problem with alkaline watch cells is if they are left unchanged after there is no longer voltage current over an extended period of time, they could potentially leak and could cause corrosion and damage to your watch or other devices that use these types of batteries.Always check your time piece for the type of battery you are replacing. You may also consult with your local jeweler or manufacture.
