Set of Two Bent Metal Industrial Angle Shelf Brackets Flat Black Powder Coated Finish (3.5X3.5)

The brackets showed up well packaged and on time. Please note that I did NOT buy these as the sole shelf support. I had originally ordered "floating shelves" from a different vendor on a different website. Although they were nice and seemed decently sturdy, the shelves "wobbled" and seemed to sag if I added any weight to them. SO, I ordered THESE brackets to help secure the "wobble". I have to say that I was very pleased with the look/feel of the brackets. The floating shelves felt naked.I ordered the 9.25 X 9.25 and I was very glad I went with the bigger option. They are for the kitchen and make the shelves feel more sturdy and also makes it feel like products with actually STAY on the shelves. It also eliminated the "wobble" from the floating shelves debacle.Getting them set up was a little tricky only because I was mounting them to a tile wall and needed to drill PRECISE holes. Nothing that would deter me from purchase though.Dimensions not listed are as follows. I ordered the 9.25 X 9.25.Width of bracket from the side view is 3.25 inchesLength from long point to long point is 13 inches (from the wall to the furthest point going diagonally.Length from short point to short point is 7 inches (diagonally).Measuring straight out from the wall with brackets secured in place was closer to 9.5 inches but my shelves are 12.5 inches so it didn't affect anything.Please note. If you're looking to buy these then load up 300 lbs of buckshot and heavy dictionaries, go with a different option. If you're going to have a normal amount of stuff on your shelves then these will work, but please note the strength of your shelves comes from the MOUNTING HARDWARE, so secure it well with toggle bolts and you'll be fine.Hope this review helps.

I think they are a little pricey, but other than that, i love em. I purchased 2 sets so far. I have my 55 inch LED tv hanging from the ceiling up against the back wall in the basement. I wanted the stereo receiver (20+ lbs), Satellite Receiver, etc, to sit behind and above the TV. All the wires and cables etc would then all be hidden behind the TV. Before, i had everything sitting on a table below the TV with cables and all showing.It looks great, has no issues with the weight. Both boards i cut the shelves to be 26 inches. The shelves themselves are completely hidden and am quite happy with the result.

I stumbled across these while browsing on amazon, and they ended up being exactly what I had no idea I was even looking for. I wanted to make a small shelf to put behind my tv for my husbands techy-items that day on our tv console and couldn’t be hidden on a shelf or behind closed doors. I made a small shelf from a 1x4 piece of pine and used these to hold it up behind the tv so you couldn’t see it. Worked perfect. They were exactly as described and fit with the piece of wood no problem.

These brackets are nice and sturdy. I like the industrial look and solid feel. They’re not very straight on the part that goes on the wall, which would have made the shelf tilt forward some. I added a few tiny washers on the screw behind the bracket to make it level. And I wish the screws were black to match, but I can paint them.

bought for a project that didn't happen so can't talk about instalation. Love the look though, will use in future.

These are very well made, easy to install and really beautifully designed. They're very unique and add a lot character. I ordered a couple of the 3.5's the 5.5's and would definitely recommend the 5.5's only because the 3.5 are can only hold very skinny boards. Drill pilot holes and screw these into your wood first, then drill pilot holes in your wall, then attach. That was the easiest way I found to do it.

These shelves are not easy to level in any way shape or form, HOWEVER, they are completely worth the struggle. I love my new shelves. We bought one pair and immediately bought another once the initial one was up. Take your time with the install, but I recommend them!!

Look good. Sturdy. I went to the lumber yard and bought a 19 foot red oak plank and had it cut in half there for about $35. Only needed to be lightly sanded for a few minutes and stained. Beautiful..
