Very informative. Still reading for information. There is only one true God and he created all things.

This book stands on the shoulders of the previous work with much more than the word NEW added. The previous phenomenal; this one is also! The number of researchers alone are impressive, and the amount of detail is too. It is broad as well as deep in it's coverage, and I'm sure it will be recommended by emminent Christians. People who aren't Christians shold read it if they are looking for answers. This work is serious, and should be read by those who are serious about truth.

As I write I am still working my way through this excellent & detailed book. It covers a wide variety of biblical topics laying out the Christian as well as the skeptics view points.

A well researched and logical book that helps you to understand the way people think. I have a greater insight into modern thought and the way people think about Jesus.

This book is an excellent resource for my library. The in-depth research is second to none. An oldie but a goodie!

I have read most of this book passionately over the last several years. As a life long lover of history and a long time believer of Christ I am touched by the alignment of both in this book. This book gives to us lovers of good historical evidence an ability to love the LORD our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind. (see Matthew 22:37) Consider: The Bible has 300 prophecies contained in the Old Testament that foretold of Christ's life. (consider Psalm 22 alone which contains 5 references to events that were fulflled by Christ's life!) All prophecies came true and were fulfilled by events that took place concerning Him. Evidence supports the fact that The Old Testament Scriptures were completed some 250 to 500 years before Christ dwelled among us. So, clearly the Old Testament is validated as Truth. Also, this book brings out that Isaiah, and Daniel have both been validated by the Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran. There are no multiple authors of Isaiah...The whole scroll from Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls)of Isaiah exists as one complete scroll. There is no division to indicate there was more than one author, as we would expect to see if there were multiple composers. Until 1947, when a shepherd boy who was searching for his lost goat discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest copy of the Old Testament Scriptures were thought to have been dated around 900 A.D. Some of the Dead Sea Scrolls can be dated at 125 BC. Also, there are some great outside the Bible sources mentioned in this book that I liked, too. Josephus, Tacitus, Seutonius, Lucian are several 1st and 2nd century outside the Bible sources that mention Christ, His death on the cross, and His resurrection. All of these facts are written about in this great, faith affirming book. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to increase his/her faith or to discover the Truth. Update: I am now going to seminary but I still use this book for writing papers in Christian Apologetics. It's still a great book!

If you ever wanted some hard evidence to support your belief in God, this book has archaeological and historical evidence that answers whether there is evidence for a God, Jesus' existence, and His claim to be God Himself. There is plenty of information and tons of arguments that you can use to defend your faith in this modern world. You will not run out of interesting facts to read and strengthen your faith. If you are looking for answers to hard questions that people are asking, this book will definitely help.

So far I am thoroughly enjoying this text.
