We ordered this so that we could make a Christmas simmer pot, and it was beautiful! The pot is sturdy and durable and very lovely. We highly recommend it if you want to be able to see what's in it when you're cooking. :)

This pot was pretty good for the time I had it, however it didn’t last more than a year. I am a very careful person, but the glass is very thin and did not hold up over time. The pot always looked a little scummy, it’s hard to get looking FULLY clear clean. Whenever I cook rice in it, it leaves burn marks on the pot. Tonight when steaming my broccoli I heard a crack and sure enough, there goes the pot… it’s possible that I accidentally hit it on something and that started the crack, but there wasn’t any particular incident that I could attribute a fracture to. I enjoyed it for the time I had it, but I will be looking for something more durable.
