Many American soccer players have grown up on Nike and Adidas cleats but those of us who have been playing for a while know that the prestige brand long ago was Patrick. If you have narrow feet, almost any cleat will do, but if you have wider/normal feet, the kangaroo leather of these cleats makes them far more comfortable than "low cost" models from Nike and Adidas (save for the Mundial line, which is another outstanding boot; my synthetic turf cleats are Mundials). The European sizing can be tricky but I wear a size 9 and the 42cm cleats fit perfectly. The shoe insert is fairly cheap but you can probably replace it with a nice insert from Target if needed. Overall, I was very happy to find these cleats were available and look forward to hopefully wearing them for many years.

Runs 1 size too large, but once you get that dialed in, the shoe is very comfortable and sensitive to touch, while at the same time providing the protection of leather. My son had tried many shoes on and these fit the bill. I just wish they were more prevalent.

I bought these for my husband, and they are real nice! He is pretty picky I would say and he ended up lovin' these shoes! Great buy
