Good gloves

Great fit. Very non-slip.

The stitching was poor. Gloves looked really rough, not much padding....lets see how they stand.....

Well padded goalkeeper gloves. Size as described providing a good snug fit. Palm material feels weird, but does provide added traction. Allowing to grip the ball more securely whether the gloves are wet or dry. Average price for decent cheap football gloves.

The Goalkeepers gloves were just what I wanted, good quality and value

On opening, the gloves are attractive and brightly coloured in red and white. Stitching all over seems secure.The palm is made of a red spongy foam material, and is covered with a removable plastic film for protection (it isn’t however clear that this layer should be removed from the packaging, and I can imagine some leaving it in place, which would certainly affect the grip of the gloves on a ball). Removal isn’t as easy as it might seem, as the film is somehow fitted underneath the stitching that attaches the palm/finger foam to the back of the finger material. With it removed, grip is good, although only time will tell how much this degrades over time and use, as the foam surface gets scuffed and worn.Sizing of the gloves seems about right - medium fit snugly but comfortably on my husband’s Goldilocks hands (not too big, not too small). The wrist fastening, using velcro, is firm and secure, and reaches quite far down the wrist to provide support. The plastic finger splints that run down the backs of the fingers give sufficient support for the finger joints while also allowing flex in the fingers to catch and grip.All in all, a solid all-round budget pair of gloves, certainly for the short term.
