Let’s get this part out the way, this is not top quality equipment, but is a great value for your money if you just want to steam items from time to time and don’t want to spend a lot. Basically it gets the job done. It’s light weight, so picking it up and cleaning is easy. The size works great for our family, we cook veggies, wontons, reheat seafood, and the list goes on.

Very nice and very thin so you have to be careful with cooking with it. It’s thin so water boils fast.

Cheap steamer and dangerous. I used it 3x and the glass cover cracked. I did not drop or ding it in any way. Ugh, already used so can’t return. Buyer beware. Lucky I caught it and discarded the food inside

It works well but is pretty thin material

Loved this the moment I opened it! Thin metal but sturdy - so it is light as far as total weight, but not like you'll dent or damage it easily at all. Thinner material heats water much quicker than using a basket/thicker sauce pan, and surface area of the steamer is amazing for evenly steaming squash, veggies, etc. and easier spooning cooked food out. MUCH easier/faster clean-up than basket-type also (no having to expand/hold/maneuver to wash between grids). Fits securely/snugly together, handles remained comfortable to touch and lid does a great job keeping the steam in also. My sister saw it and wants one now too!
