It was easy to put it all together, but the construction leaves a lot of gaps for moisture to penatrate.

After several years of hard use in all kinds of weather and maybe being run over, the female end of my good extension cord broke and exposed the contacts -- not a good thing to have happen. It was a heavy duty 12 gauge extension cord so I ordered this 20 Amp lighted connector to replace it. In case you are not certain which wire to connect to which contact, there is an accurate diagram supplied. The connector has a strip gauge built in so you know how much wire to have exposed. It is well constructed and securing the three wires was pretty easy and the result is a safe, working, extension cord once again.

I am a pro with over 50 years experience. These appear to be a reasonable quality product. The price point is OK and the quality decent.

I have been trying to find a plug end, both male and female, that work well with 12 ga wire and can be used outside. These seem to fit that bill exactly. I am not 100% sure they are outdoor rated but seem far better than anything I have found so far. I am considering buying a 10 pack of both male and female ends just to have on hand on the ranch. Very pleased so far!

The items were nicely packaged, and built of what appears to be quality products. Fit and finish is exactly what the imagines on the website showed.

I bought this to replace the end on a 10/3 extension cord. I wasn't sure it was big enough for the 10/3 wires and the overall diameter of the plug was smaller than the original molded one.I was pleasantly surprised. The wires fit easily. The light on the end is much more visible than the original end and it is very solid.I would definitely buy this again.
