Easy to install. Comes with what is needed..ordered 3, however 1 was missing the stainless steel screws so that is why only 4 stars . I did not notify supplier of missing hardware so I don't know if they would correct this .

put a riser on the septic tank as it is very old and I do not care to go through the digging out process again to get it pumped out.

Easy DIY Fix. I replaced 4-lids with 4 of this lid. My old lids were flat and punctured. This meant the old lids were flexing and breaking whenever my small kids jumped on them like a trampoline. I specifically chose to replace my flat lids with domed lids. These are giant hunks of plastic. I jumped up and down with my lofty vertical leap of 2-inches. The lids didn't budge or flex under my active software developer adult weight. I chose a dome design because of the better structural engineering.I am quite confident that my kids will not be taking an unexpected dunk into the septic tank due to lid failure.Also, for those of you afraid of DIY projects - don't be. Use a cordless drill and rubber gloves when swapping the lids. This next part is absolutely imperative: when removing the lid, do not ever let your face be above the tank. The gasses are noxious and you will pass out and then fall inside of the tank. A strong word of caution, do not fall inside of the tank. For that matter, just keep all small kids and pets and tools away from the tank opening while swapping lids.Now for the rewarding part of any DIY project: the money savings. The local septic dealers wanted 7-times the price of this far superior lid. Those dealer prices did not even include the installation charges. I have told several friends about the Turf-Tite products online and we are all bypassing the local septic dealers.
