Really happy with this mic - it's good quality, inexpensive, and a dynamic mic and works great for our PA and karaoke machine. A nice bonus, it has an XLR connector and comes with an XLR to 1/4" TS - so it's adaptable to various options like dropping into a mixing console, just swap out the cable!Tested the frequency response, and it was close to my Sure XM58 (but not quite as responsive for vocals). However, taking into consideration the price point of this vs. the Sure, it's a great low-cost option.

It feels lighter than it should, for a cardioid, but that's to be expected.It fits well in the hand, which is great.My use for it is to place into an off-frame boom and capture an additional channel of audio during filming. For that, it's a very nice touch. Pipe it directly into the camera if you have the right jack adapters.An unexpected advantage -- if it drops or falls, my heart's not gonna stop the same way it would if this were a $500 microphone. So, that's a good thing.

For a beginner level inexpensive mic, it does a good job. However, if you are a professional musician or singer, there are better options out there, but everybody has to start somewhere right?This does have a nice weight to it and I do like that it is a little more pe intite sized and friendly to a smaller feminine shaped hand.
