Simply Brilliant!
This arrived next day after being ordered from BatteryLogic. Packed inside the box was the UK mains adapter, charger, manual, quickstart guide and also the 4 Eneloop Slate batteries inside a clear plastic battery case. The item itself seems well built and the display is clear and crisp. It is a little difficult to get to grips with if you just switch it on and press buttons, but a quick read of the manual will get you up and running in no time. There are plenty of reviews on the net of this item and it's rebranded equivalents, so I was confident that I was ordering a good item.Having used everyday brand chargers such as Duracell in the past, this charger has boosted several of my existing batteries back from near death. With several charging modes along with test and refresh, this is an excellent piece of kit and well worth the money.Plus the Eneloops look all lovely and sparkly in the slate finish!Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Good Product
This is a real high tech battery charger. You need to read the manual as there are lots of options. In refresh mode it cetainly seems to put life back into old batteries and it will tell you if you are wasting your time. I wanted fit or my digital camara batteries which over time seemed to hold less and less charge. This may be because they are never properly discharged. Be prepared to wait a long time (several days) if you use refresh mode on high capacity rechargeables.

Not worth it!
I paid even more (£39.99) for Tehnoline BL-700 when, as soon as I got it, I noticed third slot (counted from the left) is not charging properly (actually a slot that never stop charging, but ALL THE TIME WITH very SLOW CURRENT! I decided to keep it like that.. but NOW (recently) I noticed that in "Charge and Test" it is only DISCHARGING and NOT charging at all on none of slots!!Total disappointment!

Advanced Battery Charger
This is a superb piece of equipment that allows you to monitor each cell during charging, discharging, refreshing etc.Having done some market research and now used this charger I can fully appreciate the value for money. Yes it costs more than the ones you can pick up for a tenner at the DIY outlets but you are getting a whole lot more technology, literally four chargers in one. The big adavantage for me was the information I could read off from the four displays.I use the eneloop cells in my GPS where I have to set the type used. My only minor whinge is that they are not explicitly described or labelled as NiMH cells. I had to search around to find it in black and white. The eneloop website at [...]has a user manual which I found very useful including why you should not use the refresh mode of charging on these hybrid cells and why they may not work (even when fully charged) in some equipment that requires a higher initial voltage. The cells are labelled as minimum 1900 mAh.If you read the user manual you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

Almost brilliant.
I have used this charger for around a year now and it is excellent, treating each battery individually and charging accordingly. The only thing that loses it one star is that sometimes my eneloop batteries (which have had fewer than 15 charge cycles) that have totally run down will not register, the display reads 'null' and they will not charge. Starting them off in my previous charger gives them enough charge (over 0.9v according to the manual) to then register in this charger. A bit annoying for an otherwise excellent product.

Very pleased so far....
Early days but first impressions are: Excellent service from Amazons supplier, which in my case was Battery Logic in South Woodford London E18. A proper established business which I've used before and have visited their premises and received good personal service and are to be recommended. The charger comes highly recomended so I really bought on the basis of those. In reality it's not that complicated to use and basically has four simple modes, all of which are mentioned on reviews here....but are easy enough to get to grips with. It runs slightly warm so might just stand it on a small raised something or other. I bought the Sanyo Eneloops and would only ever use those in future. I like the long retention of the Eneloops. Good if you want to store them in something which you know will work when you come to use it. Will update if anything untoward crops up.Update a week or so on..... In reality it's easy to use. Just needs a short time reading the booklet and getting used to it. Full refresh does take a day or more - but you don't do that all the time. The normal charge cycles are perfectly acceptable. Recommended product.

Excellent
Very impressed with this battery charger. Its ability to renew batteries, and charge them according to their individual characteristics, has improved the performence I get from my rechargeables. I use it with both Eneloop batteries and older rechargeables.

The only charger you'll ever need.
The only charger I use regularly for AA and AAA batteries. I like the individual cell charging, and it does expose duff batteries. I do not use the faster charge so cannot comment on that aspect.
