BULLY DOG - 40460B - GTX Performance Tuner/Monitor

This has screwed my new truck up.Tried street program ,truck is falling on its face on take off. Codes on engine ,put back to stock , shows 2nd gear on dash at 70nph ? Runs bad , I'm going to have to man up and take it to dealer and have them Reprogram the truck. I hope I dont loose my warranty. Folks do not buy this programer you can screw your 80k truck up for 600 bucks. Never again will I buy a bullydog .

In gauge mode works for about five minutes before freezing up and won't accept any inputs to go to home or any other screen you have to unplug it to reset it, With towing tune programed it seems to be ok till you try to run wide open throttle then it stalls and will only run about 1200 rpm in second gear also sets off check engine light, with the performance tune program it runs for about for 1 hour of highway driving then sets off check engine light and goes to limp mode, now i know why it can also reset check engine light if it couldn't you would get stranded. Would never recommend to anyone ever even someone i hate. First time ever i wish you could give negative stars and i have bought a lot of stuff i didn't like I think this is only the second time i have given a one star review.And yes i called customer service and no they couldn't help, four hours of my life i won't get back. Not that they didn't try their best just bad product (should be pulled from market till it can be fixed). Customer support 4.5 stars, product negative 2 stars. Side note gauge mode is to small to be readable while driving, Truck is at dealer today to get the computer flashed to stock i noticed after the purchase that others had the same problem as me that it was unable to restore the original program, also getting exhaust manifolds replaced so it was already going in to shop fortunately. (don't think i've ever owned a ford that didn't need new exhaust studs and manifolds after 75k miles and I've owned a lot of fords in the last 25 years)

I had this product for a total of three weeks before it failed. I weeks trying to contact customer service before talking to someone. After that conversation I was assured that they had a solution and would be fixing the issue. They never did. I had to go through the third party vendor to get a refund, their customer service was great. I would not recommend buying any Bullydog products.

The GTX unit was easy to mount but set up was horrible. The set up booklet was very poorly written with little operating instruction. The GTX unit would not communicate with my laptop to update the unit. Called customer support and they were useless. The guy acted like he didn't even want to be there. He couldn't figure out the issues I was having with the unit including my check engine light that wouldn't go out. Im sending the the GTX back to Amazon and will shop for another programmer.

My expectations were high. There was a lot features that was looking forward to installing. The default program was easy and straight forward to install. Problem was the instructions and tech support was lacking. It was difficult to get any information that explained how to set up any of the custom programs that was supposedly had the changes I wanted to install. Still haven't got enough info to get the custom programs I want. The brochure is exactly what I wanted but the amount of instructions was very lacking and getting in touch with tech service was almost impossible.

I have a 2014 f250, the tuner can not talk to my vehicles computer to load the tunes. Bullydog is aware of the situation but does not know when they will have a solution. It sounded like it could be weeks or months. I'm definitely thinking about returning this and buying a different brand tuner. I returned the product for a full refund. Bully dog never contacted me about the fix

Great product but didn’t update over the WiFi. Was having issues so called tech support, was a bit of hold to speak with a technician but the support was second to none. Great staff, very patient and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
