I needed something that gave me better dexterity when handling individual glass casserole dishes. These are fab! It also doesn't matter if they are wet when I pick up a hot dish or if my thumb touches the food - no burning and they are very easy to keep hygienically clean.I think I read another review that said they couldn't hold anything for long with them. I haven't found that problem at all although I fancy that there doesn't feel as much heat protection near the seam....it depends how my thumb sits when I pick something up.Overall though, I think they are great! No more tea-towels or fabric oven gloves!

Bought these to replace one silicon oven mitt that had worn through between the finger an thumb resulting in a burn. Two gloves is better than one and you have fingers to allow for movement which is better than our old mitt, fingers do feel slightly tight though and you need two hands to get the gloves off, where as with our old mitt you can just slip out of it with the one hand.

I can't honestly say I'd recommend these. The inside of them is essentially rubberised and makes putting them on a bit awkward and makes your hands sweat instantly. They would be far better if they had some form of lining.As far as heat protection goes, they do the job. The fact that you have all five fingers available makes handling hot items much more tactile so I will give them that.

Delivered before deadline.*Review Updated*Decent product for a reasonable price at first glance.Does what it say's on the tin I thought.Tried them earlier today when taking the oven tray out gas mark 180'c to turn the fish over.... within 10 seconds I could feel the heat through the gloves as they were heating up.Might not be a good idea to continue using them for the BBQ.

These silicone oven gloves are good value. They are pretty good at resisting the heat from a 220 C baking tray straight out of the oven. I like the fact that they aren't susceptible to getting wet. It's also very useful to be able to move your fingers independently, means you can grab food directly if the situation requires it, like when using a BBQ. Easy to clean, certainly easier than the fabric equivalent. On the downside not as comfortable as fabric gloves, have that silicone slimy feel inside as expected.

These are really great. I have previously used heat proof gloves and these are much, much better. The gloves fit my hands well and are very robust looking. I can't imagine them getting into the state my other gloves got into all too quickly. I just don't feel any heat when I put them on and use them to remove hot things from the oven.

Excellent Product.I've always hated the mitten-style oven gloves. You never feel you've really got a proper grip. So, when I spotted these I had to give them a try.Looking a little like a car tyre turned into a glove, they are certainly different. But, do they work? YES! The heat is not completely eliminated, but is never too hot. Plus, now I feel I've got the grip I wanted.Highly recommended!

I have bought two pairs of these gloves from two different suppliers and they look and feel similar to me. You can certainly feel the heat through if you are holding a hot, heavy tray for long period of time, say 15-20 seconds. They are not as heat resistant as the old fashion oven gloves but then I like the flexibility of finger movements. On top of that these don't stain.
