Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation (Olive 3)

I was amazed at the quality of Mineral Fusion Olive 3, ...truly! I used a beauty sponge to apply and it went on like a breeze with excellent coverage over my 77-yr-old skin. I prepared with my usual skin care products: vita-C and hyaluronic acid, Neutragena spf 50, and Bare Minerals liquid concealer on my very porous nose & dark circles. MF went on quicker & cleaner than the loose Bare Minerals that I've been using. I love Mineral Fusion pressed compact neatness vs. the messier loose powder & brush needed for Bare Minerals. I do have sensitive skin and am prone to eczema, so I'm glad to report no issues on that score, as yet. I've used Mineral Fusion three times and I'm very favorably impressed & plan to look for more products from the company. I definitely reccomend Mineral Fusion. Less pricey than Bare Minerals too! If you want a good quality 'real' mineral powder foundation, try this one. Many foundations can be orange-y but this one is not. I love the olive shades! I recommend using a good quality foundation brush rather than a sponge. Make sure to use a good moisturizer or serum before hand so that it doesn't settle into fine lines and don't apply too much. Also... finish with a rosewater (or comparable) face spray to set it and add more hydration. Works great as a highlighter and contour, buy a shade darker and a shade lighter. They last forever also! A little goes a long way but you can also build them up if needed. PROS- Good coverage, healthy on your skin, double as highlighter/contour, covers all day, one compact can easily last 6 months. CONS- If you have dry skin and don't moisturize, it might settle into your fine lines if you apply it heavy.

Have used this for years. Have bought the same one (Olive 3) multiple times. It is lightweight and provides the perfect amount of coverage. Just love it.

I've been wearing mineral fusion foundation and blush for 2 years now and my skin has never looked better. Hands down the very best foundation on the market! The natural elements are constantly changing your skin for the better by nourishing and healing your skin, it is naturally SPF protection from the crushed minerals (which is important in Florida), its weightless and it won't damage your skin if you fall asleep with it on. I get countless compliments at work on a daily basis saying my makeup is flawless and my skin is beautiful. Best part is its incredibly cheaper than all the fancy foundations at the makeup counters in the department stores. No pimples or clogged pores here, which Lancome and MAC have caused me in the past. Amazon by far has the cheapest price, up until recently I was buying my products at Whole Foods which is definitely marked up. Amazon has the exact same product for less and delivered straight to my door. Win Win situation for anyone who wants a light-medium coverage that will actually make their skin better over time instead of damage it, at an affordable price!

I ordered this product then thought i ordered the wrong shade. I then ordered a shade of the Deep, but I have now tried both, and i think this shade is right for me, so i'll keep the Olive shade I originally ordered and use it with the Deep concealer I purchased with the Deep foundation. I am doing this because my complexion is on the lighter side so i thought getting a darker shade would be better for me, but I was wrong. I only wish that the olive shade was available in #2 or 1 because that would have been perfect for me. However, i will use the one i have and keep watch for the right shade to come along. One more thing - the pressed powder foundation formula is great! It provides coverage immediately as it is applied. It is light and feels as though nothing is on your face. That is the reason i will keep what I have and wait for what i want. I have been looking for this type of foundation for years, bad the icing on the cake is that it is GLUTEN FREE!! Thank God and thank you Dermstore. You have given me my confidence back. I will no longer be self-conscious about what's on my face, or worry I will break out at the end of the day after wearing a foundation on my face.

Blends beautifully into a natural but covered look. I have mature combination skin and this stays all day, I blot late afternoon and I am good to go. Would definitely recommend this.

I tried this product at the local health food store and bought it on Amazon. I wouldn't bother doing it any other way. It's a risk I am not willing to make. So I have olive skin tone that darkens easily in the summer and Olive -3 was my best match since Olive-4 was too dark. Remember it's the summer when I bought this so my skin tone will change in the winter but I will def be using this year round. Great color! I have a yellow undertone and this is by far the best match for my skin tone. Go to Skin Deep to find out if you're ok with this products score. I am. Some ppl take natural to the extreme. I really have nothing bad to say abt this product line. I also like Zuzu's line (some products favorites). So try this product before buying. Also ppl please state which color you bought and your natural skin tone for those who cannot try this product on before buying.

Love it! 4th time purchasing- I didn’t get the shade right the first time so tried again and it was great. Bought a darker shade for when I’m tanned. So I switch between this and deep, depending on my tan. Pros: no breakouts and coverage depends on how much you apply Cons: it does NOT last long ( meaning the product is very little) and it does not come with an applicator. Suggestions: use a makeup brush rather than a sponge. You can use it under your regular powder makeup for breakout protection

LOVE this product, I have been using it for years and the coverage is great! The packaging was changed a few years ago and it breaks apart easily but I love it so much I am prepared to tolerate it. Please add a couple of dollars onto the price and fix the weak hinge on the case.

I've been using this for years... great matte finish, layers great for heavier coverage for dark spots. The lid often breaks off, which I find annoying.

I use this product all the time, though it's becoming hard to find. I ordered the colour I usually use, but when it arrived, it was completely different. I mean, not even close. The seller offered me a 30% discount if I wanted to keep it, but it was the **wrong colour.** Thankfully, they refunded my money, but I'm stuck with makeup I can't use, and am running out of my usual colour. The seller didn't offer to exchange it or send the right colour at their expense. Very disappointing.
