I started off thinking I would buy a folding poker table, but storage space and the fact that I don't really need it very often kinda turned me off from that idea. Then I looked at the folding poker table toppers. I like those because they also tend to come with padded rails, but my concern was about the creases on the playing surface from the folds. Even in the product pictures the creases look like they would be troublesome to poker play. And then I stumbled onto this product - the table top poker mat - and the Newverest product in particular. For the record, I was not incentivized in any way for this review. Nor do I know anyone who is in any way associated with the company who makes this thing. I'm just a regular ol' consumer giving my unbiased thoughts after first opening it up. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box and pulled out the product was that nothing about it feels cheap or half-hearted. Even the storage bag it comes in seems well thought out and appears to be made with quality. But my biggest concern about a rolled-up product was that it wouldn't lay flat. Or that it would require manipulation to get it to lay flat. Please hear me when I say this: That was NOT the case for me with this product. The mat rolled out easily onto my dining room table and immediately went completely flat. No little edges popping up or anything. The mat is not lightweight foam with a cover on it. That's not to say it is particularly heavy, I just mean that it feels substantial and has the right amount of heft to it that causes it to lay down and stay put. Well the stay put part is aided by whatever the grippy material is on the back. It's not sticky like it's going to leave traces on the table, it's just appropriately grippy. It feels like it will stay exactly where I put it on the table while people are moving cards and chips and elbows around on it. Nothing about this thing, including the design graphics on it, feel cheap or phoned-in. The poker hands cards and the coasters are a very nice and welcome addition to this set as well. I'm excited for the first poker night using this. Would it be nice to have a fancy dedicated poker table to play on? Absolutely!! But since I don't have the space for one, and I don't play often enough to justify the expense, this relatively inexpensive mat is a very nice compromise!

Fantastic mat! Great edge stitching, doesn't slide, super great playing service, and everyone loves it! The coasters and player cheat sheets are a great touch. If you're just looking for a mat to put on your kitchen/folding table because who has room for dedicated poker tables, this is the answer!

Good quality, seems to be holding up well

This Texas Golden Tournament Table Mat looks and feels great right out of the box. The material has a premium feel, lays flat on the table, and instantly elevates the whole poker setup with a clean, professional look. Our family had purchased a different poker mat for the holidays, and when we received it the mat had visible defects in printing which the vendor tried to 'color in' with a black sharpie (to no avail). This replacement mat we purchased from Newverest is far superior to the other - the colors are vibrant, the printing is flawless, and the stitched edges really increase the curb appeal of this poker mat. And the extras provided with the set are the cherry on top - the matching (8x) table coasters are edge-stitched, with a poker chip emblem centered, and the (8x) hand ranking guides are clearly printed, easy to follow, and an exceptional resource for rookie players. Although they are heavy gloss card stock, I had mine laminated at a local print shop for three bucks to keep them pristine for many years to come. I give this product five-stars - the manufacturer has created an exceptionally classy looking poker surface, which cards slide perfectly on. Our family loves playing on this set! I usually play poker on my professional grade poker table when at home but for away games with friends that don't have that luxury, this mat more than fits that bill for a professional feel. Great quality with precision print and clarity. Cup coasters and a cheat sheet is a nice touch. Absolutely recommend!!

This definitely elevates your poker night without having to have a dedicated poker table. Great quality for the price and had a great experience with purchasing and shipping. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a better poker night. Love the colours especially the blue and the extra poker hand ranking cards and coasters are a great addition. The carry case and cardboard tube where really well though out because it protects your investment. Would buy again.
