Esstac Belt Mounted Elastic Tourniquet/TQ Holder

Second try on a horizontal belt TQ holder - this one (Esstac) is a winner! The first order I got two holders for less than the price of the Esstac...but they were essentially non-functional, being too tight to get even a compact TQ inserted. The Esstac readily accepts a small format TQ like the Snakestaff - in fact, it's a perfect combo with a Snakestaff TQ - but probably too small to easily fit a larger format TQ like a CAT. Versatility/fit perfect for a discrete, compact belt TQ holder; good value, durable, holds a Snakestaff-sized compact TQ securely (two velcro belt loops secure it to your belt) but readily accessible. Highly recommended - I'll be buying another.

Very well made product. Has a rigid back, so the elastic that holds the tourniquet does not bend it. There are two adjustable Velcro-style belt loops on the back, so that it will work with a variety of belts. It rides horizontally on your belt so it is easily concealable. I would order more if I needed them.

The perfect product if you are looking for a simplistic approach to tourniquet storage with rapid deployment on a belt. I like this one compared to the ones that store the tourniquet vertically as they seem to be more comfortable and dig into your abdomen less. Additionally the design allows it to be durable and still protect the tourniquet. It installs in seconds and is the slim and effective option to take. I've recommended it to several people and the consensus has been nothing but positive.

I was looking for the TQ holder that would fit on my duty belt, be flexible, and would not interfere with hook and loop attachment to the inner belt. This holder surpassed my expectations. It is soft, flexible, and has hook and loop on both sides of the attachment straps. Another common issue with rigid and some soft TQ holders is that not all of the holders are universal and fit different tourniquets. By design, this holder fits CAT and Sof-T tourniquets. I haven't tried anything else because I'm partial to CAT TQ. One-hand TQ deployment is easy. The holder creates enough compression for perfect retention but does not interfere with functionality. I can't speak for longevity and durability yet; however, so far, I don't see any signs of wear. I reordered it for several other mounting applications since it is compact enough and doesn't take much of real estate on the belts, backpacks, or pouches.

This is a great holster! It’s super easy to put on your belt and it stays in place and doesn’t move. It holds the CAT tourniquet perfectly

I will preface by saying that I love Esstac gear and use their mag pouches which are top notch. I wanted a TQ holder that was horizontally mounted and this fit the bill. The stitching and quality is top notch, no problems there. It also fits on a 1.75" belt very well, so fitment is good. However, the elastic is eventually going to fail and has begun to stretch out after a year or so. With it being open-ended on both sides, this also risks having the TQ drop out unintended, depending on where you mount it. I can see now why vertical holders are probably more often used. Still though, this is a solid option but be aware that it might not last forever.

Cheap and effective rq mount. Fit good on my 2 1/4 belt safariland belt with Velcro backing. The horizontal mount is more comfortable when sitting

I wish this was cheaper for being a little elastic thing but it’s been a good purchase! I’ve had it on my outer carrier for about a year now and it’s held my tourniquet on snug throughout a lot. Has not shown any sign of wear yet. Do note the direction the electric straps are oriented in and make sure they work with what you plan on attaching it to before you purchase!
