I really like this set of squares they are a little pricey but they are spot on square this is the first Presch make of tools I have bought but I will certainly be looking at more of their brand as the quality is very good

This is an extremely precise and well made square.I checked this with 2 high end engineers squares and it is absolutely precise! It's the type of quality you get with Woodpeckers tools but a fraction of the cost. I purchased the small square and within the hour purchased this larger version - enough said!High end precise try square with a variety of awesome options and features.

I bought this as it was a bit bigger than a regular try square and I wanted to draw lines for cutting flooring planks that were 30 cm wide and have since used it for several other little DIY projects.As you would expect from our German cousins the design and build quality is excellent, which makes it easy to use and hard NOT to get the correct angle every time (being slightly childish we also had a bit of laugh at the German name for the product which appears in big capital letters on the box - “ANSCHLAGWINKEL” 🤣).The handle is solid and thick enough to align well with the edge giving reference for the angle.The metal rule is thick and doesn’t bend or flex like some cheaper items I’ve used before, so it provides a good edge for scribing your line. The whole tool feels like it will last a long time and not wear or damage easily.The 45° feature an unexpected handy bonus (I know, I should have read the description!)I haven’t used the scoring pin yet but I can see that it could be really helpful. It fits tightly inside the handle, so you don’t get the feeling it will loosen up and drop out (and eventually be lost) over time.The notches that allow you to score a parallel line are also very handy, although won’t work well with a thick carpenter’s pencil (but that would give you reduced precision, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing).Perhaps the price seems slightly on the high side, but this is a really decent product and therefore I would score it well on value for money - you get what you pay for!If you’re hesitating then go for it - I would definitely buy this over again. Not that I’ll need to, as it will very likely last a lifetime!

Presch Try Square 200mmThis is a sturdy try square, no flex in the ruler part as experienced with some. Mine is pretty square, but not perfect (when set against my engineer square and CNC table). It's good enough. If you want *perfect* this is not it.Setting the outside edge along my metal CNC bed, holding the zero end of the scale flat, you can slide a piece of paper under at the 239mm end down to about 200mm. The rest of it is flat.The square has measurements on the outside to 239mm, on the inside to 202mm.For woodworking at my level (not a Chippendale either as furniture maker or stripper), making toys for grandchildren and stuff around the house, it is good. I was initially disappointed at the lack of perfection, but on further consideration of expected use I am actually quite pleased; if it was perfect I would worry about damage. As it is, I can use it to mark something and put it down (i.e. drop it on a bench) without any great care as it is so sturdy; the orange part is 17mm thick and the rest is 2mm. That's pretty substantial in stainless steel.Would I recommend it? As a woodworking tool, yes. As an 'engineering square' (their words), no.

J'en avais assez de perdre du temps avec mon ancienne équerre (que je ne savais pas "faussée"). Celle-ci n'est pas un 1er prix mais en vaut largement la peine : je suis ravie de cet investissement. Les finitions sont très propres, la prise en main et l'utilisation intuitives avec en plus le marqueur qui peut dépanner et l'angle 45° intégré. Top !

La calidad en el detalle del embalaje me dejó gratamente sorprendido, la calidad de la escuadra es superior, por poner una pega, las marcas son cada centímetro, si hubiera sido cada medio centímetro sería ya la bomba. Es una producto 100% recomendable, robusto, fiable y de acabado muy fino.

War erst etwas skeptisch da es doch vom Look her dem Baho prunkten stark ähnelt.Muss aber sagen das ich absolut die richtige Wahl getroffen habe und den Winkel gekauft habe. Wirklich super verarbeitet und bei der Anwendung auf Holz und Metal super genau. Die Kanten von der Maßskala ist scharfkantig so das es auch exakt zum anzeichnen ist. Liegt auch super in der Hand.
