an interesting product that could use more explanation
Many supplements contain one key chemical compound which is the exact compound research has studied and theorized to be helpful to supplement. I'm not a big fan of this approach, because biological systems are nowhere near that simple, nor is the food we've evolved to get our nutrition from. That is - just supplementing one magic compound is unlikely to work in most people, or it's unlikely to work for long, or at all past the placebo stage. So I much prefer to see in supplements an array of compounds which support the desired effect from a variety of aspects and support the process behind it with some degree of depth. Glutathione Symmetry seems to be taking that approach in supporting a goal(s) of glutathione more comprehensively -- except this isn't really explained anywhere. I really would like to know the purpose of each of these ingredients and how they support the goal - and also specifically what the goal is. I don't see that on the bottle, in the listing or on their website. For example, why S-acetyl glutathione? I haven't seen any research that's vouched for this form of it. This is a relatively expensive glutathione supplement, and also a unique one, so I think they need to justify the product a bit more than your average NAC capsules that are so commonplace. Another thing about the price and value- because of these other ingredients, you're getting less actual glutathione per dose or per dollar - unless the overall effect is thought to be more potent with these other ingredients -- but that really needs to be substantiated. Do I feel like this is helping me? I'm not entirely sure what the effect is. Some people report getting energy from glutathione supplements and I generally haven't experienced that with any of them. I'm trying these more on faith that it's likely to help improve my health as I age.

Promotes cell energy and mitochondrial support
I received the glutathione symmetry supplement. I actually think the price is somewhat standard or reasonable for the S-Acetyl Glutathione version. This version is more bioavailable than other versions of glutathione, however glutathione isn't specifically necessary. By that I mean there are many supplements you can take that are cheaper that boost glutathione. Unless you have a specific epigenetic makeup that you would somehow need this. This supplement also might work more quickly than using other supplements in combination to boost glutathione. This supplement also has other aa's and compounds (sulfur and methyl groups) that further break down b vitamins in the citric acid cycle. Glycine with NAC can help promote a natural glutathione boost. MSM and TMG aren't really needed to be taken together as that plus the glycine seems redundant to me, but the ratios are not in an excess amount that make it look concerning. You should ask your doctor to be certain if this is right for you. All of the ingredients do promote healthy cell function, and research does say taurine, glycine, and glutathione aid in bile flow production. I think a good methylated b complex would be a good addition to taking this supplement. My reason for 4 stars is because I feel some of these are redundant to have all in one supplement. However, I haven't done the research to see if taking all instead of a specific one has a benefit. I know it is easy to overdo taking TMG and MSM, so it wouldn't be bad to start slow and work your way up. Again for specific individuals, I could see how this combination could be more effective than other supplements. I'm not put off by the price. I don't like it of course, but $49.50 for 30 days is pretty typical for supplements of this caliber. I do think it would take 30 to 90 days to see the true benefits of this kind of supplement. I'd suggest working with a naturopath or a dietitian who can look into your specific epigenetic needs.

Health support
Serving size is 4 capsules. Directions say take 2 capsules 2-3 times a day between meals. The capsules are medium sized. Easy to take with water. There is a smell. It smells like old vegetables making it harder to take.

not so sure yet
I’ve been taking Glutathione religiously for several years, which I think has benefited me. I wasn’t sure what Glutathione Symmetry was, but it contains MSM, Silymarin, and Taurine, which I also take along with Glutathione. So, I’ve been taking this pill instead of the four separate ones I’ve been taking. It’s only been a week, so it’s too early to determine if the quality is good enough to replace the supplements I’ve been taking. It makes it a bit easier for me to prepare my supplement pill boxes for 30 days, but I still have to take four capsules of these, so that's a bit of a letdown. I will report back if I see any improvement in taking this instead of my regular ones after finishing the bottle. If not, I probably won’t go out of my way to buy this over others.

Good!
I wasn’t sure what to think of this supplement but I really like it! I’ve been taking it for about two weeks, and I feel like it’s just really helped my overall balance. It arrived quickly and well packaged. The capsules are standard size capsules, and easy to swallow. There is no discernible, taste or odor. They do not bother my stomach and like I said, they really just added like a balance to my body.

S-A-GSH - A unique form of the antioxidant glutathione that is absorbed well orally
I received a boxed glass double safety sealed bottle of Return Healthy Glutathione Symmetry, containing 120 Capsules. The label provides product information, directions, ingredient list, and manufacture details. Lot number and manufacture date are stamped on bottle base, but no expiration date included. The bottle i received in December of 2023 indicates a manufacture date of 09/2022, so already 1 year and 3 months after production date. The product is made for Return Healthy, a business located in the US, but no information regarding if ingredients are sourced in the US vs international. I like that this supplement includes S-Acetyl Glutathione, the form of Glutathione that is absorbed the best when taken orally. Glutathione is a antioxidant that is promoted as supporting immune functions and detoxification, to mention a few potential benefits. This formula also includes some particular amino acids and other targeted compounds, as well. The directions state to 2 capsules, two to three times daily. They are medium/large in size. As other reviewers mentioned. the caps do have what I will call a bit of an "earthy" scent, however I do not find it too unpleasant. As a regular supplement user, I have become accustomed to encountering some unique aromas. I have not experienced any stomach problems or similar issues from this supplement. One of the images on the Amazon product page for this supplement does show the ingredient list, which is good, however ingredient source information is not disclosed. The label simply states that the product is made for Return Healthy llc. Also, while lot number and manufacture dates are indicted on the bottle, expiration date is not provided. In my personal opinion that information is quite important for consumable products like supplements, with a definite efficacy shelf life.

High quality supplement
This supplement includes glutathione along with a host of other supplements that aids in detoxify. The bottle itself comes very nicely packaged and well protected. It is a nice solid glass jar. There is an external and internal tamper proof seal. The capsules themselves are slightly smaller, more narrow, than other capsules. There is an interesting scent in the bottle that reminds me of kimchi. However, the capsules don't have much scent to them outside the bottle. The recommended dose is 2-3 capsules but easy to take all at the same time since they are smaller. Plus, they also recommend taking it 2-3 times a day. At the higher end, these will only last a few weeks.

Definitely pricey! I think they may be helping
I got these because I've heard a lot about glutathione lately, and how important aminos and bile are to our health. I like that it doesn't have all the additives some other supplements add to their capsules, though not a fan that the jar comes less than half-filled. I think companies should put in more capsules or make smaller jars. Most of the space in my medicine cabinet is filled with empty jar space! These capsules STINK. Maybe that attests to their quality =) I don't count it as a negative, but it's not bad to be aware of. Whew! But the caps don't have a lot of fillers like some other supplements do, so that's a plus. They are pretty standard sized and not difficult to swallow (if you can get past the smell =). There are 4 caps in a serving and you take 2 caps 2-3x/day, so it's about 30 days in a bottle depending on how many you take at once. I don't see anywhere that it's non-GMO, 3rd party tested, GMP certified, etc., all of which I prefer. If this is the reason that I didn't get sick at this year's Christmas party, and that arthritis hasn't been hurting as much as usual, then this is worth it! I'm going to keep taking it and see if any other benefits start showing up.
