A book that I think all of us could benefit from
The world is going mad and common sense is going right out of the window. We live in a world where we have to be careful what we say online or in our social environments, opinions are only accepted if they fit the narrative and people agree with them (god forbid you go against the grain and have an opinion of your own). We live in a world where political correctness has become something of a "Frankenstien's Monster" and Dr Saad does a very good job highlighting some of the absurd arguments that are ongoing in today's society that when read will make your head go numb (some really are THAT absurd)This was a great read from beginning to end and a great introduction (for me) to Dr Saad work.

A guide, not a manual
Any book that quotes Ludwig von Mises and Thomas Sowell is one to take notice of.This is an easy read, not filled with academic obfuscation. Some readers may be disappointed in that, though I feel this is a deliberate counterpoint to how Critical Theory is often expressed. Some points I don't fully agree with as Dr Saad takes an uncompromisingly individualist stance on all matters. I'd prefer to see this as a handy guide to combating the madness that surrounds us rather than a manual.

Phenomenal Read
If you're feeling lost in today's world because of social media "outrage", identity politics, cancel culture, gender identity politics, woke-folks, victim olympics, virtue signalling, CRT, hurt feelings, anti-science, anti-reason, anti-objectivity & other postmodernism nonesense, then this book is for you to help you detox your mindset from the complete & utter lunacy coming from the left. Gads sense of humour is a blessing when it comes to talking about such matters in his book & you'll love him for it. He will show you how to grow a pair, Invoke your inner Honey Badger & to become fearless online in the face of fake outrage. Remember, the outrage brigade have about as much sense of humour as a cardboard box...learn to have some fun with them. Cheers, Gadfather, from Scotland.

A breath of fresh air
A timely intervention in a world where a small "progressive " cabal seeks to gaslight the majority of rational thinkers by making them believe they are on their own. Saad is the boy pointing out that the emperor truly has no clothes. This is a great quick read. If you are in any way a Marxist , I wouldn't bother. If you are of sane mind (centrist or working class) and have a penchant for rational / scientific thought it's definitely worth a read.*Trigger Warning : Donald Trump is mentioned and NOT as the Antichrist !!

An important and timely read… 👍👍👍.
If you are interested in the culture of academia at the current moment and curious how “woke” and radical ideologies have spread like wildfire into the minds of so many students and university instructors, then this book is a must read! Gad Saad’s style may not be for everyone (it’s not dumbed down easy reading for the masses) but for those who like reading detailed arguments infused with a healthy dose of discussion on evolution, then you will enjoy this book! You also do NOT need to agree with everything Dr. Saad says to find this book valuable: that is the whole point! In trying to show that universities have become a bastions for uniform thought in which opinions that do not conform to whatever the liberal norm of the day is are not welcome, Gad Saad can occasionally go out on a deep end to make some incendiary points. I do agree with about 90% of what he says (section on Bret Kavenaugh though a hard one to stomach for me); and, that is enough. I also have learned a lot about radical Islam from this book and Dr. Saad makes some harsh points against this ideology (using evidence to back himself up) that I think almost no other academic would be willing to make today. But best part of book is this: Gad Saad is funny! He has a sharp mind and natural knack for sarcasm—and this comes across on every page.
