This is the first time I purchased Magachef Premium Oster Sauce. I was pleased, it is not oversweet and has a nice, savory Oyster Sauce flavor. I will buy again.

First-rate Oyster Sauce
At long last, it's possible to get really good oyster sauce in the US, made with real ingredients. Incredibly balanced, with no fake taste and slimy texture. Umami-rich, sits well in the background or foreground of everything savory. I use it and Red Boat fish sauce in Caesar salad dressing. Product arrived intact - no leaks as others have reported.

Excellent flavor and NO MSG
I am sensitive to MSG so find a good tasting MSG-free oyster sauce was important. Megachef is the best flavor oyster sauce I have tried. I don't understand why it's so hard to get a good bottle delivered. It is important to package a glass bottle well for shipment and when this step is skipped results suffer. January 2026 my most recent shipment was a disappointment. Glass bottle was packed in a small layer of bubble wrap, see video, and then thrown into a large box to rattle around during shipment. Bottle arrived with a busted safety vacuum seal. I have no idea whether the safety seal was compromised initially and just mailed anyway, if it happened during transit over the past week, or as it was 'placed' onto my front walkway outside of the covered porch. There's just no way to know when it happened and how many days the food product has been exposed. For food safety reasons it is not safe to eat unless I as the consumer inspected the safety seal then popped it myself.

For the sensitive people.
I don't know what regular commercial oyster sauce tastes like, but I like this! I can't tolerate gluten and many additives and preservatives, so I tried this for my stir fries and I love it! 💗 It's nice and thick. A couple tablespoons will lightly coat a wok full of stir fried veggies

Great without all the junk
I wanted to make some Asian food but most oyster sauces contain a lot of stuff I don’t want to consume. This one is much cleaner and tastes great.

It's the secret sauce!
My first purchase of oyster sauce. Don't know what it *should* taste like... Only bought it to replicate the garlic green beans at the Chinese buffets. This is the ticket to making those beans taste like they should!

Healthy oyster sauce
Great oyster sauce with less additive and no MSG! Love it! I know it’s more money but totally worth it for a healthier oyster sauce.
