This hiking backpack surpassed my expectations! It is SO lightweight and dries easily if spilled on. Fits perfectly. The straps have really good padding to them and my shoulder did not feel sore at all after hiking for hours and we stuffed a lot in the bag. Gatorade bottles, water bottle, snacks etc. Loved the phone and key holder in the front straps. Folds perfectly back into its bag. I ended up using this as my diaper bag half way during the trip because I liked the size of the bag and all it could carry. Highly recommend!

Lightweight and the clip in the front helps keep the weight distributed so it doesn't hurt your neck and shoulders -- this is exactly what I needed and fits a very large water canteen inside. I like how it folds up if I need it to join me abroad. The logo is super annoying but I will eventually find something to cover it. The thing that holds cellphones definitely won't hold any cellphone I've ever had in the last 10 years (too small) but it's great for car keys, a bike tool and a pocket knife and tactical pen. I do wish there was a space large enough for a modern cellphone but I just used the outside pocket for that, making it necessary to unclick it to get to your phone... Given the cost and failure of every other bag to have anything that would work better for cellphones -- this really is the best day pack on the market. It got caught in a typhoon and my phone stayed dry, there was a little moisture in the main compartment - the zipper material is leaky, but my gloves at the bottom absorbed all that, not enough to drip, just be damp. To be clear it was like jumping into a pool , not casual rain (which would probably never make it's way inside) -- so I recommend just carry a small wash cloth at the bottom and you will never be sorry you bought this.

I love this little backpack! Very lightweight but made out of a good sturdy material that doesn't feel like it will rip or fall apart. Originally, I bought it to carry my phone, keys, and a water bottle while cycling, but then I figured out that it works well for jogging, too, because you can cinch it up tight so that it doesn't shift around too much while remaining comfortable. It's small, but mighty - I found a little free library while on a jog and managed to cram two novels in it on top of my stuff (and could have fit another had there been one I wanted, lol). The only thing I don't really "love" is the phone pocket - it kind of juts into the arm when there's actually a phone in it, which makes walking/jogging uncomfortable, so I ended up just sticking my phone in the small front pocket instead while running. It wasn't as big of a problem while cycling since the arms don't swing the same way during that activity. Overall, for what it is, I'm very happy with it.

Once unfolded from its self-contained pouch (which was a pleasant surprise for me!) I proceeded to ensure that all mechanisms were functioning, and how the pouch fit into the backpack. The backpack is just the right size for me and appears to be durable for my trip to Thailand later this year. The backpack is on the small size, so an individual who may be heavy-chested or fuller in size may not be comfortable with this particular backpack. I am 5'4" and relatively "petite" ( 155 lbs.) The strap in the front that secures the backpack would be tight for fuller-sized individuals. For me it works! I am able to carry two 16.9 oz. water bottles in the side pockets, and my cellphone and other items in the two front pockets; that is a plus! The pouch actually converts into an inside zippered pocket! Great!!! The inside of the backpack will hold many items that I normally carry when going on day excursions in foreign countries! The lightweight of the material will not weigh me down once I pack my items for daily activities. This backpack should provide the functionality I am seeking. I am giving it four stars only because the securing strap in the front could use a bit more material should I want to use it on top of a jacket or sweater. But for this trip where I will not be needing a jacket, it should be fine! I would recommend this product provided the individual is not on the heavy side! This is also a good valued item, and offers many colors from which to choose.

The material is sturdy, holds a ton of small items and 2 water bottles if you chose. It did check all my boxes as I am a hiker and I would have liked a smaller pack. There are technically three pockets. When you unfold it, you can use that small pocket to hold items securely inside the pack. It holds my cell phone, barely. It does say it holds a 7" cell phone. My phone is a little less, but it's a struggle to put it in and zip up the pocket. I do have a case on my phone but just be careful of size. I'm sending it back because the straps are crooked., like way crooked.

This is the small hiking pack with handy pockets I was looking for. It's very light (some would say flimsy) & that's my preference. I'm sensitive to toxic chemicals & this pack has no bad smell. I love the front pockets located on the straps. In those, I carry things I need quickly... my eyeglasses & 3 small leashes for my K9s in case we encounter other hikers. In the side pockets I carry a small bottle of water on one side & bear spray on the other. In the main compartment I carry everything else I might need on a 3-4 hour walk in the forest... first aid kit, snacks, flashlight, aluminum blanket, etc. Two of my K9s wear training collars in the wilderness. I attach the controller to the chest strap of the pack & it's super handy. I've used this backpack several times a week all summer & am very happy with it. I've hiked with a waist pack for years but wanted the weight off my hips. I tried a sling pack but found I had to hold the strap off my neck as I walked. This small pack distributes the weight I carry nicely & is perfect for me.

I love this so much! I bought it for my kids trip to Disneyland. My kids are 4 & 8 so we packed light but there was tons of space in the bag and very easily accessible. It’s lightweight also so it didn’t bother my shoulders even in 100 degree weather.

So far I am super impressed with this backpack. Its really light-weight, and small...but has a lot of room. Perfect for the essentials. Only negative thing I can say, my phone ALMOST didn't fit in phone pocket.

Bit of a problem with the delivery but everything turned out okay. Nice material, the two pockets in the front keeps phone, money and sunglasses handy. Quite some space inside.
