I have mounted this inside as it's so stunningly beautiful I wanted it inside. The colours on the mermaid are vibrant and the details on the piece are lovely: there are little fish swimming around her and an open shell with a pearl nestling in it. Like other pieces I have bought it came very well packaged. The mermaid was in a thin plastic bag to minimised shedding from the protective polystyrene blocks that surrounded her. You will still need to dust off some small flecks of polystyrene but she is well worth it. A stunningly detailed and beautiful piece, there is a hole in the back for easy mounting on a hook, she was up on the wall in minutes. If you love mermaids or mythical creatures you'll enjoy owning this unusual piece. Photos added for those who want to see a more detailed view.

From the photos I thought this would look fab in our kitch seaside bathroom, but it just didn't hit the high notes for me. Looks a bit cheap (not in a good way) and the colours are dull. Sent it back.

This Mermaid is absolutely beautiful and perfect for our Beach house. We have her in our guest bathroom where she greets our company putting a smile on your face. You can use indoor or outdoors. Well made with a beautiful face and vibrant colors. The weight is perfect very solid. Highly recommend!

difficulty with screws too small to support the weight

This is nice, a little on the heavy side, very detailed, colorful, and true to size. Bought this for my hall bathroom makeover and made a great choice in picking this up. It is large, 3-D, very well detailed and gets your attention. It is beautiful. Looking at this item on google most people that had it was outdoors around pools. I used it indoors and decorated the whole area around it. It’s also sexy.

I adore this mermaid. She is the centerpiece of my "enchantment under the sea" display on my patio. Guests all say how gorgeous she is. The colors are vibrant (I sprayed her with a clear acrylic to preserve the colors), and the design is reminiscent of a beautiful reef. I would give this as a gift with no hesitation. One word of caution- she is a bit heavy and the screw that came with it seemed too short, so I used a longer one.
