Q: How much surface area does a can cover? Tried some on an old rough wood wall need to estimate how many cans I would need to finish.

I would estimate 2-3 cans for a floor. One wall, maybe 11/2? It really depends on how dry and absorbent it is. You might need a second coat also. You can never have too much of Liquid Gold. I love it!

Q: does it removed grease stain on wood?

I cleaned an entire family room in my home that had been vacant for a few years... ceiling and walls and it did a wonderful job. Not sure if any grease stains existed.
