Those 1 star negative reviews should be removed by Amazon. This isn't the forum for people to further their personal agendas.Too many people are hypersensitive. Jeez, lighten up. Some of us actually think outside of the box, and see other uses for costumes you deem offensive.I am Mexican (from Mexico City) and am not offended in the least!I was happy to come across this costume because it is exactly what I need for our school Christmas play. Thank you Amazon!My son's part/solo is the "Mi Burrito Sabanero", and if you other Mexicans or latinos know the song by Pedrito Fernandez, it is a cute song about a boy marching to Bethlehem with his donkey.This costume fits his 125pound and 5'3" frame, If you are shorter than that the pant leg may be an issue for you. The pant length is about a 32". With shoes on, the pant leg isn't an issue for my son. The bottom (or soles) have 2 rubber bands to wrap around a shoe.The costume has adjustable (back-crossing) suspenders.The poncho is a too, too big.Obviously he isn't going to wear the mustache. It's too big anyway. I'd have to trim it with scissors to fit between his nose and upper lip.The front donkey legs do not touch the floor (even at his height). The hoofs are about 3 inches from the ground.The donkey has a thin cord for the "reins". The cotton filling for the donkey is a bit too soft, which causes the head/neck to flop around a bit too much. I wish it were a little thicker. Son said he will get tired holding up the head, since it isn't self-supporting. He tried looping the rein around his neck, but this makes the donkey look like it's getting it's neck snapped back. We have to figure out something because in the song, the boy is supposed to be playing a 4-string guitar. The tail of the donkey should have an adjustable wire to bend it to shape, however it is still stuffed with the same floppy cotton material.We just got this costume and I will be updating this post later, once we actually see how it looks on stage. Should everything work out, we will add sandals to the bare feet (has 4 toes).

People need to get over themselves thinking this costume is offensive. We bought it for my fiancée (Mexican American, thank you!) to wear on Bourbon Street when we visited NOLA last weekend and the costume was a HIT! And - gasp - other Latinos thought it was cute too. No one was offended. We also had a taco and a banana in our costumed group. All the costumes were fun and lots of people asked the costume wearers to pose with them for pictures.

My husband bought this and it was very small on him. He is 5.11 and 200lbs. It was right on his legs even with just boxers on! The quality was not good either it had tears in it after an hr.

The product fit my husband fine and got laughs for the costume. Only thing is the material is cheaply made. At the end of the night of one wear it tore from the back.

Used it for Halloween this yrar, fit great and was definitely a hit!

The design of this costume is hilarious and everyone will have a blast watching parts flop around while you walk/run. It comes with pretty much everything you need and you do not have to purchase any extra items. What you see in the picture is what you get.Now with that said, I have to also say that the costume itself in not that well made. The stitching did not seem to be that strong and the strings that come off so you hold the donkeys head came off at the first pull. That's without counting that the strings could have possibly been located in better places. So, after re-routing of the strings and a little bit of re-enforcing sewing I was able to run a 5K run and win third price for best costume.

Great costume. Won a prize at a Halloween party. 6ft tall and it for perfect.

Cheap, not worth the price I paid, ripped as soon as I put it on.
