A friend gave me a laptop she no longer needed, she wanted it wiped and recycled. It was about 6 years old, the battery was missing, and the system booted up with a SMART drive error (indicating impending failure of the hard drive). This battery fit perfectly, charged right up, and provided about 70 minutes of of portable usage. I replaced the hard drive with a 1TB SSD, and performance was significantly improved. I gave it a 4-star rating because I'd hoped/expected at least a couple hour battery life particularly after the drive replacement. Screen brightness was minimal, the fan wasn't running fast and I had blown all the dust out of the fan and heat-sink area. For the price, this is a great deal.

This replaced a battery for a 2012 HP DV6t 6000 series laptop. Works well. Of course battery life in the laptop is 3 hours or so. But that is due to it being an old computer running Windows 7 with a 15.6 inch display. So essentially I am getting the battery life I got with the prior 2 HP batteries I bought. Charges to 100%. I would buy this again.

To early to tell how long it will last. Fit properly, charges correctly. Battery life seems approriate although thus laptop runs on the charge most of the time. Time will tell. so far so good

Bought as replacement battery for my 6 years old HP Pavilion G7. A little bit tight on the fit and need a little bit force to push the battery in. Other than that it works. Only had it for 2 weeks and not sure about the durability, but so far so good.

The battery took over a week to get to me. I was able to force it into place. It seems to have good battery life so far.

Did not match the power requirements of my PC. Battery power lasted about 50 minutes. Returned it and bought from another website a battery that was a good match. Sorry Amazon.

This battery is not compatible with HP Pavilion G6. Regardless of the state of charge and whether or not the power cord is plugged in, the batter causes the laptop to power off at random. The laptop also powers off at the same place in both the BIOS and HP Utilities batter test. I bought this product twice, thinking the first one was defective. It was not. A HP brand battery, from another HP laptop solved the problem. DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY.

My wife's old laptop had a very dead battery - it gave about 30 seconds of life when unplugged. We bought this on a bit of a whim, hoping it would be a mild improvement and were surprised to find it's actually GREAT.It has tremendous battery life - especially for the price we paid! Going from 30 seconds to 3 hours again is GREAT! Thanks!

*Updated review* Seller quickly responded to the issue and is providing a replacment. Dissapointing... battery is 5 months old and cannot hold charge for more than 45 minutes just sitting turned on, not even doing any computing. Recently contacted the seller, we will see if they stand behind product. Update to follow, upon response.

Instructions say to discharge battery to 2% (which is impossible as laptop shuts down before that level is reached), then fully charge. Sounds like the earlier version of battery that has a "memory". It fit perfectly, and the cost is attractive. It suits my need as it is for a laptop I seldom use.
