How is the Holbrook XL different from the standard Holbrook?

The Holbrook is a vintage-inspired square shape sized for narrow to average faces. The Holbrook XL is the same silhouette and aesthetic, scaled up to fit larger faces — with a wider lens and longer ear stems.

The Oakley Holbrook and Holbrook XL are sold in both polarized and non-polarized versions. Polarized models will have "Polarized" in the lens description.

Are these good for fishing or being on the water?

Look for PRIZM Polarized variants tuned for water — like PRIZM Deep Water Polarized — to reduce glare off the surface and improve contrast into the water. PRIZM Black Polarized is a strong all-around pick for both driving and water.

Are they comfortable for all-day wear?

The Holbrook and Holbrook XL are built with Oakley's lightweight O-Matter frame material and designed for Three-Point Fit, ensuring frames only touch the wearer at the nose bridge and behind the temples.

How can I tell if these are authentic?

Authentic Oakley eyewear is backed by Oakley's extended protection against manufacturing defects. Look for the Oakley wordmark on the temples, the metal Oakley icons on the side, and the model number etched on the inside of the left temple.
